  2. First check that the microswitch in the door is giving a signal to the system by checking that the door open icon is showing on the display when you open the door. Is the passenger door and rear doors the same?
  3. App doesn't offer this functionality on older mk 4's, mine from 2020/21 isn't supported
  4. Hello everyone. My question is: the interior lights don't come on when I open the doors. What should I check, and how? Could it be that the panel in the overhead trim needs replacing? Thanks to everyone for the help. @Isu1977 Kérjük, vedd figyelembe, hogy a Briskodán az angol az alapértelmezett nyelv. Hozzászólás írásakor kérjük, használj fordítóeszközt.

Went for Graphite Grey metallic. Staying low key, although was tempted by the velvet red!
  7. Here is my UK 2026 2.0d 150 SE L. Love it so far. A few frustrations with some of the tech, but thats the nanny world we live in now I guess.
  8. Hi there, thank you for accepting me. Its great to find an old school forum for the skoda. Just bought a mk2 Kodiaq Sel 2.0d 150 back in September so its a 2026. Loving it! Sold my 2014 mk7 golf in 2021, went to a focus estate, biggest mistake of my life! Glad im back in the VAG family. Looking forward to getting to know the community. Catch you soon.
  9. Appreciate that! Always handy to know someone with tools like that

  11. Typically you don’t bring 6 year old threads back…. That said are you doing long or town journeys? If short journeys then the first few miles when cold use much more fuel. Otherwise check tyre pressures and try replacing the fuel filter and air filter. The number of diesel’s see thumping out plumes of smoke, because the filters clearly haven’t been maintained. One other thing to check would be that the oil/filter have been changed and you’re not driving around with treacle in the engine.
  12. Skoda dealer will definitely be able to print you off the build sheet from Erwin. I used to have access but my account got revoked as they don’t allow private people access anymore. I did manage to download all the workshop manuals for superb if you need any. Won’t have your engine and gearbox but all the rest will be relevant.
  13. That’s mad. I was speaking to Skoda HQ today. Trying to find out all the build specs for it. Not sure if the buckets are heated. Collect weds morning and can’t wait!
  14. If the situation requires you not to take your electronic key, why would you take a tablet or smart phone with you?
  15. Also. Fun fact. Your reg starting with K makes it likely it was a car of VAG management as it’s first owner.
  16. How low are the springs? What’s your wheel specs for aftermarket. Looks what I’m after!

  18. Hi I have the same problem here 40 mpg I’m expecting 60 mpg at least
  19. I also see it makes sense, however it still came as a complete surprise. Bit like when I had a BMW 5 series and tried to reverse into a part of our drive, opened the door to lean out and look back and it slammed the brakes on. I’d been doing that trick for decades when it was needed, but not in the beemer! Will try that in Skippy when I get back from Morocco. 👍
  20. I also upgraded from a Fabia although I that was a downgrade from a previous superb. Eibach pro kit is the go to for lowering. Have a search on this forum and there’s a table to choose the correct kit. Not done it to mine yet but it’s on the cards potentially. Lots of things you can do on a relatively small budget. Mostly mine has been fixing up issues plus some styling mods including all LED bulbs. Made my SE L into a sportline lookalike.

  23. @pab567 It looks like you’re the guy to help with possible CarPlay upgrades. here are photos of my hardware, software, and firmware packages. Is there an upgrade path for my 2016 Octavia Mk3? VIN <Removed>
  24. Last ever photo Being traded in Porsche and Audi wheels for sale Onto the next Skoda project

  26. So I’m trading in my 2014 MK2 Skoda Fabia 1.2 TSi For a 2018 MK3 Superb Estate Sportline 1.5TSi 150 Fancied a bigger car from the fabia, didn’t want Octavia’s like most upgrade to, and always fancied an estate! I absolutely love the interior on it (unsure if my buckets are heated) And there’s about 5000 toys I’m going to need to get used to! Do plan some mods Aftermarket wheels Remap And workout best way to lower it. Honestly I can’t wait now Show me your estates 👌

  28. Hello all. Have taken advantage of my employers salary sacrifice scheme via Octopus to order a new Skoda Epiq on a 3-year lease. It's a 55 Edition, in Black (only colour available unfortunately), due sometime in December. Currently have a 14 plate Mazda 6 estate which I really like, but Mrs X_CAB has never got on with. We don't need the volume anymore, but still need a reasonable boot space for allotment tip runs. Also, we are restricted on driveway space, so balancing length, and more importantly, width, against load space. Looking forward to learning about this new hitec vehicle. I hear it has built in DAB 😄
  29. Thank you definitely would appreciate all you learned doing this and thanks for the link I will take a look.

Ditto - but you ordered a few weeks before me. What colour did you order? I think there is going to be at least a few weeks delay though due to supply issues. Not bothered though as hopefully by then the softwares experienced by many recent MY27 owners may have been resolved?
  31. Happy to share knowledge and lessons learned. It’s amazing when you do two sides how slow and cumbersome the first side and how you do the second side so quickly and easily. BTW just saw these on a Facebook MQB Classified post: Whiteline front droplinks for sale
  32. Why do you bother with the physical key? The Skoda app has remote locking / unlocking function.
