  1. But we do not know if this is happening with no controls activating, they didn’t say if its using the screen wash, with lights on or off or anything. The question creates so many other questions, as we know if the system is working as it should you cant stand there and take a photo. Its almost as if once ignition is on the lights come on and it just sprays, which of course would be an issue. But we just don’t know that yet.
  2. On the MK2 all clusters include a handbrake on light. This is in addition to the warning message that appears should you pull away with the handbrake engaged on maxidot fitted clusters. The switch for it is in the handbrake mechanism in the centre tunnel. Probably the same on a MK3? Because it's part of the standard equipment.
  3. Lots of businnesses and organisations use a dedicated VPN to access things on their company propert and websites and email servers so perhaps that's one explanation. Another may be that the email server only recognises company property to grant access. So yes, best thing would be to speak to the IT department/ webmaster.
  4. As DogBook and I think it would be worth trying to take some better pictures to give a clearer idea of what is going on - I can't make out if the shroud isn't properly activating, has the jet become misaligned, is the jet partially blocked? Have you recently changed screenwash and if so are you getting more foam on the windscreen and rear screen? Is it only happening on one side? Also it can help to give the model and age of the car - is it pre or post facelift? This sort of information will help the more mechanically minded on the forum guide you towards possible causes and, hopefully, a remedy. What do you mean "it only happened after my full service cancelled"? Do you mean this has started with no-one else having access to the car rather than it being something that's happened after a service?
  5. Explain clearly exactly what is happening, answering each question would be a good start 👍
  6. Seller wasn't being helpful, walked away from that one. Thanks for the advice.

Hill Hold is different to Auto Hold. My 2020 vRS is a Mk3.5 with a digi dash - it teases me with the Auto Hold symbol in neutral, even though I don't have it!
  8. If its from a reputable dealer and they will agree to fix it/give you waranty then fine. If its a private sale I would look for another car unless they offer you a decent discount to cover diagnosis and repair.

Brill - hope all is good from here on in! Not a problem on the help; it’s what the forum’s for. I’ve had plenty so only right to pay it forward 👍🏼

A quick update...with a new USB stick formatted as FAT32 I've completed the two upgrades to 308, then 332 without a problem. Many thanks for all your help in getting this sorted Lee, really appreciate it. Phil
  11. Latest Updated Speedcams - October, 2025. Once again here's the latest update of my customised version of EUR Speedcams ( October, 2025 ). They consist of the full EUROPE speed cameras which I've split up into four consolidated poi categories i.e. Redlight Speedcams, Fixed Speedcams ( which now include European tunnel speedcams ), Average Speedcams and Variable Speedcams. They come supplied with my own preferred personal choice of icons, shown below, to match each of the speedcam categories. Remember to Install them as I explained in the first post in this thread i.e. after extracting the zip file remember to open the newly extracted folder and place only the PersonalPOI folder and metainfo2.txt file onto your sd card ( Please Note: a usb stick will not work! ). Also, please remember to select/tick the relevant newly added poi categories and the poi audible warning alert in your infotainment map menu settings after performing the update or they will not display on your map or audibly alert you. Hope you all enjoy them! EUR Speedcams - October, 2025.zip * Credit to jungblume2005 from Gpsurl for the use of his database which was used and converted in order to compile these files.
  12. Hi all, I've just replaced the digitizer on our 2016 Yeti and found this video extremely helpful. I thought I should share with everyone because if you are like me, I was not brave enough to just dive in without exact instructions. Also, as per the earlier reply, ensure you have T6 & T8 torx bits (this is a jolly good excuse to buy a whole set of torx bits)
  13. As above, completely normal to not be able to access without a vpn connection authorised by you employer. It’s another layer to help reduce cyber attacks.
  14. Thanks David. I was thinking I should have probably tried this!
  15. Either take it for a drive or turn steering wheel lock to lock and should clear
  16. Broken or rusted through Very surprised they broke.... I'd replaced with original and wax them to prevent corrosion But as said, they lasted 10 yrs. Not likely to have the car in 10 more yrs

Thanks for reply, Fuses checked with continuity tester, I disconnected battery last night from the car and have had it on charge overnight. About to go out and see if anything has come back to life and will also check fuses before connecting battery back up.
  18. Worth mentioning in case he doesn’t know. I do it without even thinking or looking although here in NZ there is no speed warning just the lane keeping assist
  19. Assume you know you can turn off lane assist & speed warning via steering wheel? I do this every time I start the car, and thankfully it’s easy to do and not buried deep in the infotainment.
  20. It is not sealed. You open the drain plugs and the Box and MCU can be serviced, oils changed. It is just that the Manufacturer has no Service Guidelines, Advice, Schedule or specifications for servicing the DQ200 DSG. (People do service them.)

Had the same issue of the auto hold switching off. After raking around in the settings to find out how to switch it back on, I have now added the control to the top menu of the infotainment screen so that it is easier to find.
  22. Well digitizer fitted and unit is working! Cant vouch for the locking up as it was intermittent before. Ill try it next week in anger but first impressions are good. I used the “broken fixed” video suggested and the Ebay screen linked by Steve jd I hadn’t appreciated or realised you had to go down to T6 Torx so a quick trip to Screwfix afforded me a 5/6/7/8/9 set for six quid. I hastened to Prezafabs warning about making sure the sd card readers were seated. Fiddlyest thing was getting the thin aluminium screen surround off as once I loosened off one side , the opposite side popped back in Total time from in situ to re installed 90 mins.
  23. I have no experience of these codes and there could be a few causes for them but unless you are able to investigate these codes on the vehicle and test their frequency and test and look for possibly causes I would walk away from that particular car and look for another example, or a different car (make and model possibly). Personally I'd be wary of any 2020 built car given Covid build and the lack of chips and build issues during Covid - not that I've seen here too many moans about 2020 Fabias, IIRC some 2018/19(?) Fabias have a few common faults. Others here may be able to give you more and better information, and different opinions. Good luck.
  24. It can also be disabled if you object to software engineers driving your car by proxy.
  25. What do you mean by that? The car is constantly connected and is accessible online.

No one has actually said why it’s happening - The car wiring is designed for normal halogen bulbs. and so an amount of current leaks through all the time which but doesn’t affect the halogens as it gets blocked by the filament resistance in the bulb. LEDs use a fraction of the power, With a fraction of resistance so then the current leaks through it illuminates the bulbs. For them to work properly there needs to be a resistor pack built into the bulb strong enough to block that residual power flow. The ones you got don’t do this properly.
  29. Guess it depends how you use it, I have no issues with my cup holders.
  30. That's exactly what's happening yet nor one person in skoda is acknowledging that issue
  31. I'm sure the matrix mapping is wrong for UK motorways and dual carriageways; It blocks out the left hand side (shown in purple) rather then the right hand side - which I would expect it to do, so that even if car light are obscured by the central barrier, they would not get blinded...
  32. I'm sorry, things might be different in your country but WHY do you need to see your phone whilst driving???????
  33. I would love an answer to this one too.. Bugs me every time I get on a motorway yet the minute you hit the off ramp it defaults back to normal. Not that we have a lot of motorways.. 😆
  34. Here you go, from the "horse's mouth"
  35. Turn the lights off and it won't happen...
  36. Oh, so that’s why you keep yours enabled.
