  1. Having recently managed to update the software, it's all a bit of an anti-climax. What differences should I expect please?

  4. It's from one of those trusted traders sites. It's a mobile fitting service. I get a years warranty. I haven't got a price from Skoda but no harm in phoning I guess.
  5. Ok, I didn't know that. I'm looking at £380 to get my timing belt & pump done which should have been done 3 years ago going by Skoda's recommendation. If I'd had the well know pump problem both would have been replaced sooner.

  9. In a way the system forces you to do that. I just get the general warning & then need to check the pressures on all 4 tyres.
  10. Then you need to inspect the car carefully yourself, in case it gets damaged/scratched when it's being collected.

  12. Both maps & software have to be updated manually. Others can advise the best way to do this.
  13. Are you talking about map updates or a software update? If it's software, it's better to post a screenshot showing which software version you have so others with more knowledgeable can advise.

  15. It was just an idea. Mine is auto & I've never driven a manual with stop/start.
  16. Could it be a switch or solenoid connected to the stop/start system?
