Take my feedback as tongue in cheek. I do agree the system is inferior & lacking in functions compared to other systems, although I've never had problems with postcodes. For me, it's just convenient to have a built in system.

If it's coming up to around 5 years old you should look into getting the cambelt & water pump changed. Mine is DSG & there is plenty of power for normal driving & to be able to slip it into sports mode quickly can aid overtaking.

If you're lucky, something may start to rattle or come loose and then you can see if that clip should be holding that piece.

Of course it will. Just take a longer time depending on outside temperature

The car is very sensitive to road surfaces. There are many threads in this forum on soundproofing. Be thankful you don't have the "booming" problem as well.

Does it go work when you use the buttons on the key fob?

There's also a wire hook which is used to take off the cover on the rear lights to get to the torx screws securing the lights. It's mentioned in this post.

Much more info needed. Was the 50 mile run in slow moving traffic or open road? Is the fan running? What indication do you have that it's boiling? Are the hoses hot or cold? At what level is the water in the expansion tank? Is the heater working, if not, could be pump problem or as e-Roottoot says an airlock
