Just so I understand correctly... You're saying it's just the wash/wipe that's not working when stationary? Pulling the wiper stalk will only activate the washer jets (and wipers) to clean the windscreen when you're moving?

If it was a bonnet switch issue, the cluster would either show the door open light or the image above to warn you. If it was a fuse, then the wipers wouldn't work at all. Anyway, pretty sure this is normal behaviour. It's identical to what I remember happening on my MK2 Octavia which is the same platform and electronically very similar. The wipers would work normally when driving but when stopped, they would pretty much stop and only do a very occasional wipe. The Yeti manual states the wiper interval is speed dependant. My old Octavia manual goes one step further and states that below 4 km/h, the wipers will switch to auto/intermittent mode, it'll revert back to the correct interval at above 8 km/h. It's easy enough to test the wipers, turn the car on and have the wipers enabled then have someone spray the window with a hose pipe. I'm pretty sure they wipers will move just not as often as you expect. I certainly can't think of any obvious failures that would prevent the wipers moving only when stationary...

It's entirely possible to retrofit a direct system capable of showing the pressures. - You can fit a VAG module which will integrate perfectly it'll show in the radio and instrument cluster. - If you want a cheaper option, there are standalone versions from China you can stick on the dash. It's down to how much you'd like to spend and if you're happy with a separate display or not

For 7Jx17” rims, the correct tyre should be 225/45 R17 91W. As for the tyre brand and model, everyone will have their own opinion and it'll depend on your driving style... I expect any decent branded tyres will be fine. As you're in the North, you might want to consider all-season tyres such as crossclimates. You'll lose some Summer performance but they'll be better in Winter

The part number looks to be a MIB1 Bolero so no smartlink or Android Auto support. If we see a picture of the satnav interface we'll have a better idea what's fitted

At least for me, it used to be available via AndroidAuto but then Skoda did some big changes/updates to unify their apps and it's never worked since... I'm hoping a future update fixes it as the Skoda app is useless at the moment.

Yup, that looks like a Bolero as it only has one SD card slot. A navigation unit would have two SD card slots. As I mentioned earlier, there is a good chance it's an aftermarket satnav that's been fitted Possibly something like a Kenwood GVN-MIB1 as that would keep the original display and only take over for nav functions.

On a 2018 car, I think you have a MIB2.5 Bolero so the logical option would be a MIB2.5 Amundsen to keep your screen. The MIB2.5 Columbus would need a new larger screen. You will also need to deal with component protection, FeC/SWaP codes and coding the replacement unit. Have you checked the map coverage for Albania as I believe there is only partial coverage of that region. I would suggest contacting @pab567 and see what your options are.

If you use that argument, every single wire would be the same colour which is certainly not the case...

Madness, maybe the Yeti designers just gave up when they got to the tailgate wiring Looks like the OE numbers are 5L6971147 A/B/C (depending on year) and the ones I found pictures of are indeed white wiring. I'll have to hunt down a WD for the Yeti next time I'm on erwin to see if it matches...

Really? The wiring diagrams specify both size and colour for every wire in the car and are updated for each model year. As of yet, I've not seen a discrepancy and certainly never seen a bunch of identical coloured wires like the OP's picture.

Pretty sure the 5E0035842A part number is for a Bolero which doesn't support satnav. I wonder if there is some aftermarket nav kit fitted. Any chance of a picture showing the interface once it's in satnav mode?

The PO probably changed the screen at some point. Any chance of taking the second picture again, it's so blurry it's unreadable

Just to add to @Ivan8192 post, if you have 'auto' ambient lighting modes where it changes colour based on driving mode, you should also check and update the "Ambientelicht Zuordnung der Farbe zum Fahrprofil-Fahrprofil" adaption channels too Other than that, you might need to set a WSC and importer and equipment number on this screen if you haven't already.

Exactly that As I say, I'd check the icon layout matches your existing facia as they can change over the years. I've use a cheap CH341a (£5-10) to read/write cluster EEPROMs with great success. With a testclip, it can be done without removing the chip from the PCB although it can be tricky to get a good contact. More than happy to take a look if I'm about when you're next over

Erm... Both are from this thread Might be worth seeing the the OP's old KPH facia's are correct for your Yeti by checking the warning icon layout. If so, you might be able to sort both at the same time

Might be contacting the seller, I'm not sure if the sinosmart cameras support coding or not. They are a bit weird as they seem to automatically recode other modules when they are fitted which scares me... When I fitted my OEM one, I had to apply the following changes so it could be worth checking them if you have access to VCDS/OBDeleven: Coding was super easy: - Address 19, add 6C to the installation list - Address 10, coding, tick byte 2 bit 4 - Address 5F, adaptions, change Car_Function_List_BAP_Gen2-VPS_0x0B to "activated" - Address 5F, adaptions, change Car_Function_List_BAP_Gen2-VPS_0x0B_msg_bus to "Infotainment data bus"
