@TroelsDK - Replacing the alternator or even "servicing" it seems unnecessary until you've proved the load sense wire isn't coming loose.

AC/Heating Issue
@kris_kristofferson as per @pikpilot above, leaving the a/c on all year keeps the cabin more pleasant, and improves the reliability of the system. I don't know about in Spain, but in the UK you can get a/c service from specialists for way less than a garage will charge (odds on the garage will send the car to the specialist and then charge the specialist price plus a percentage).

Yes. You need to do proper diagnostics like dry and wet compression test (for piston rings) to find out which.

@kris_kristofferson Does your car have an outside temperature display? If so, does that work properly? It has effects on climate control output.

You have an intermittent engine fault. As @Simon TDI Sport says, read fault codes when the glow plug light is on.
