the truth about electric cars
I'm not sure where these fit, but Peugeot 208s and Skoda Scalas have been used as private hire cars (not Ubers, real private hire) in Greater Glasgow.

Mechatronic replacement - parts shortages!
It's called a "hire car".

"Foot off the Accelerator" Message in VC
Please, let me know when you're going to reply to the statement I actually made rather than ignore it.

"Foot off the Accelerator" Message in VC
No it can't. Either you buy a gizmo from AliExpress or you have to turn Lane Enforce off on start up every time you start the engine.

"Foot off the Accelerator" Message in VC
"Lane Enforce" at a guess.

Best cosmetic mods?
Yes, and I really wish I didn't!

Heating anomaly
... and the new car showroom.
-
Best cosmetic mods?
No. Handling mods let you use whatever power you have more. With box stock used suspension, any extra power will be swallowed up in extra body roll and/or wheel skip.

1.9 SDI timing VCDS?
Your screenshot doesn't show which vehicle type(s) the AEY was fitted to, so proves nothing either way.

fabia 1.4 16v
Critically important sentence now in boldface. Yes that engine is "rally reliable" but achieving that means that it is stripped and rebuilt in full between events.

A good idea or digging a hole?
This appears to have made no difference to who's posts I can't see without revealing posts or unblocking individuals!!

the truth about electric cars
As originally designed (QV upthread) Citroen "aerobumps" were designed to protect against car park door scratches, not as a meaningful side impact structure as you seem to believe based on this posting.

All Season Tyres....
Drive-by noise for a given installation is controlled primarily by tyre tread pattern, wear and road surface. Interior noise is controlled more by tyre construction and suspension design.
-
Skoda rapid tyres
Almost certainly not, but as you've not said what size wheel and tyre you bought...
-
Number plate bulb
Yes and? The originals are several years old and the glass envelope has a deposit of tungsten vapour on it.
-
Skoda Superb 1.6 105hp power issue
OK, it's a problem then. Or maybe a software issue because you do get a light load/neutral rev limiter.
-
All Season Tyres....
Somehow not an actual surprise; the "official" (actually manufacturer self-certified) noise level is for external drive-by noise, not cabin noise.
-
Coolant level down.
@Jocko - I'd agree with @Breezy_Pete in the main, but I'd also look for pink residues on the joints between the radiator matrix and tanks, and around the feed and return pipe joints, particularly if your car still has VAG "spring clips" rather than graduating to proper Terry Jubilee clips.

Anyone in the same boat?
@SimmondsR That's true, but you'd also get the backup of a free to you solicitor specialising in Consumer Affairs' Law writing the rejection letter.
-
Skoda fabia heater resistor
Almost certainly. No idea. Best guesses would be Fabia, Octavia and Favorit, Felicia Guides fora Scrappie, using the 5 finger discount.

Changing trailer lights from filament bulbs to LED - problems?
The OP says he has a Yeti both in body text, and in user metadata.

Engine re-starting when using stop_start system.
"Auto Hold" doesn't only operate when the car is on an incline.

Question about clutch and gearbox on 1.6
Last time I came across "stuck on rear brakes" the car had rear drums and I got it mobile again in about a minute, including time to get 3 car lengths behind it cleared of other traffic and staying clear (thank you constable). Put it in reverse, rev to 2_500 drop the clutch and declutch again fast then tap foot brake.

Cruise control buttons
On a cruise control stalk. HTH.

Tail lights options
Actually, make that a 3rd option, "H*11 NO!"
