  1. What size tyres? Does it have DCC?
  2. "5.2 metres" is a linear distance, not an area. Personally I'd rather have real (or fake) burr walnut than fake carbon fibre.
  3. Normal function these days.
  4. \how often is "every now and then"?
  5. Don't unlock it until you're ready to open one or more of the doors.
  6. How long did fitting the Mr Fusion unit take:
  7. You mean "put the battery factory on land owned by someone else"?
  8. Yes, but ideally you would do this before spending out on the car.
  9. It's highly likely. Buy a genuine part unless you want your Octavia to impersonate a V@*xh@11 Firelighter er Zafira.
  10. Well, the ASR and ABS use the same wheel sensors...
  11. 3) One reason for not using SAE to repair your a/c. Refrigerant is not water.
  12. I think it's the a/c condenser, and this is normal function. You may have a blocked drain hole where it used to drip,
  13. Also @Papez It's a duct which increases the efficiency of the fan. I found this out when working on a 2.0l Cortina; I changed the cambelt and didn't replace the shroud, with the result that the engine temperature, which had been stable at about 90C, went up and down between 70 and 110C.
  14. One of my mates and I found that to get a solid mobile signal, we had to stand in the front porch or go outside (subject to weather).
  15. Nice, particularly with the 4 door 2 seater look.
  16. I rather like the Natural Green Octavia L&K (not a Furbie).
  17. Hard pass on doing this with Ken Blockhead; Remy Julienne I would trust though.
  18. Never, repeat, never, go near those male bovine faeces merchants again! You don't have a carburettor.
  19. Also, does the car have:- rear wash/wipe and/or headlight washers? My old Octy had all 3 systems, and a 5.5l washer fluid tank.
  20. Based on your photo of the fastener head, I'd call it "mullered".
  21. You already have an electric fan which has enough mass airflow capability to cool a hot but idling engine in city traffic. Been there, done that...
  22. Any that actually are to the H7 standard. From your photos these aren't.
  23. At a wild guess the car was stopped at this time. So just what made you believe that your test had the least relationship to what happens when the bonnet is closed and the car is doing say 90 kph?
  24. VCDS or OBD II, the same as for anything else from a CitiGo up to an Audi R8 V10.
