No, VAG (Skoda) have changed the message lengths used by many of the modules and it's no longer possible to make the HEX-CAN communicate with those just with software updates.

 

You need either a HEX-V2 or a HEX-NET, and can either use an upgrade option or sell your HEX-CAN on an auction website (which I did earlier this year).

I can offer HEX2 VCDS in South East, Oxfordshire, OX27 by J10 on M40. 

For now I can offer HEX+CAN VCDS near the city of Hoorn and surroundings in the Netherlands.

Hex-V2 Near Dudley/Halesowen.
Also have constantly up to date Bosch Esi[tronic] diagnostics for other vehicles

I noticed the list sometimes refers to specific towns. I wonder if under the county name should be the towns the VCDS owner will travel to, For example, Devon is a massive county but I'm not able to cover it all at a cost that would make sense to an owner or me.

 

Thanks for the initiative on this resource. Must make many peoples' lives easier. Yet another reason to visit and become a member of the Briskoda community. We are all working hard to counter the stealers.

Before you send a message look at the ‘Last Active’ date, if the member has not visited Briskoda for several months then it will be unlikely that they will reply to your PM, in this instance try another local member.

It is also worth satisfying yourself that the VCDS owner has sufficient knowledge and experience before they make any changes to your car and what costs are involved, some will do it for free, others will ask for ‘a drink’ and there are a few that offer this as part of their job so will have a set fee.

Type the username in the search box then advanced search for members, that brings up the username and from that you can PM the user, but just looked and @Adhalhasn't been online since Nov 2020
