i mean 4x in trunk (only 2x such in estate?) and maybe one such in glovebox and one in each door ?

originally trunk bulbs are only two no matter hatch or wagon,

hatch have them in trunk, while wagon in cover.

additional two bulbs in hatch's cover were my idea

different type of bulb body comes in glovebox

If you want a cheaper pair of boot lights, these do not have any issues, so no bonging when you open the glove, nor box flickering on the maxi when the doors or boot is opened. Here

The link does not work, any chance you could relink please?

Hi folks,

I’m sorry if this has already been covered.

Has anyone had any issues with warranty or MOTs after fitting upgraded reverse light bulbs?

I don’t know if it’s the weather, my eyesight or the fact that the car is longer than a supertanker, but I’m really struggling to reverse safely at the moment.

I’m pondering whether to go with upgraded halogen or bite the bullet and fit LEDs.

I got these

Nothing mentioned at MOT, as they just have to work and not as specific at headlights

Before u do any coding - do u have the hardware for puddle lights in ur rear doors?

Normally those r dummy reflectors in the rear doors, and the wiring is not there.

Yes, of course W38 in pin 12 and 13 of T16o 16 pins connector of door control unit.

Done, just reinstall VCDS and full information in long coding helper.

A long time ago I changed the factory D3S bulbs for Phillips XtremeVision Gen2 D3S bulbs.

They were a nice improvement.

This was footage of it...

I recently replaced them with LED D3S, made by J.W.Speaker.

Massive improvement.

This is with the LED bulbs...

Hi everyone ,

Thank you very much for information to improve the head lights in my Skoda series 3.

Will digest details and keep the forum up-to-date with my selections made ( if any )

Can somebody please recommend a quality wiring harness for the door interior exit lights on a Skoda Superb 3. I've checked some older posts, but the Aliexpress links aren't available anymore.

I had a 2009 superb before this one. It has better headlights than superb 3, especialy high beam with additional halogen. On superb 3 when i turn on high beam, almost no diffrence on the road ahead.

Ur headlights r incorrectly aimed.

The mk3 pre-facelift Superb Bi-Xenon headlights r really good, when aimed properly.

If u have a broken levelling sensor, or an associate fault, ur headlights will simply point downwards.

This footage of my headlights, showing both low & high beams.

Hi. Any up to date recommendations for led reversing and rear indicator bulbs?

Thanks

Twenty20

I have replaced my hid bulbs, I suppose they were stock ones.

Philips Xenstart old ones.

Osram Night Breaker 220 new ones.

Light was tested at the same road, 1 day difference, same headlight settings and same camera manual settings. So comparison is valid, not amplified with camera auto settings.

Upper old

Lower new

Left is main beam

Right high beam

That’s a great improvement. I love the nightbreakers. I used to have them in my golf many moons ago.
