Hi @SashaGrace

Guess what I have installed today?:D

Question if you can please help. I have gateway Q3. Do I needed anything else to have this menu? Do I need the fiber optic cable? Or just coding?

Does anyone have any idea?

Nice one :) ambient lighting is on my list as I need a new BCM next. For the menu you will need to run some coding. You will need the fibre cable for map mode. What radio do you have? You will need to code that too. PM me with the details and I’ll link you to the coding.

I wish, but sadly the power output isn’t likely to rise. TDI is limited to not much power due to the head design.

290ish is much better than 184, believe me :smoke:

I know, but the cost to get the 50-60 extra bhp over a stage 1 map is massive. 230 ish is enough for me with this car unless the turbo looses its will to live and then I would likely replace it with a bigger one.

I've been following Darkside developments videos on youtube for a while (I love their A5) and squeezing that extra 50 odd horsepower out of that GTD must have cost £5000 plus. Unless you're going to be using the extra power all the time, it would be a waste of money. I'm more than happy with the power gains which a stage 1 gives. Certainly on our heavier engined cars, you're going the right way with getting more powerful brakes. Later, harder braking into corners on track with those 4 pots.

well its more than 50, its closer to 100 over stock, unfortunately the engine design just limits this car.

OEM 3V0919719H WHS Multifunction Buttons

What's the difference about the multifunction buttons. And especially the last letter.

Because I also bought a MY18 MFSW with the VIEW button, and i've got partnumber: 3V0919719F...

I can tell you guys it needs a different airbag!!! Here I will give you some pictures of it:

Difference between 4 spoke MFSW and 3 spoke sports MFSW. Check out the depth in the red circle!

If you use your 'old' airbag, it will look like this after installing it.

Hope you can use this information :).

The difference is the H models support steering wheel heating. The F models don’t from what I understand.

Any chance you can post the photos directly onto Briskoda?

From re reading the post I think the point is that the 4 spoke wheels have a different airbag to the 3 spoke wheels but that doesn’t help to determine if the heated wheels need a different airbag. From the one thread I have seen where someone does this, they don’t mention changing the airbag, so the mystery deepens.

Ofc I can!

Can you put them in place in my previous post? I can't edit it anymore...

This has now cleared it up I think,

my 3 spoke FBSW (which is NOT heated):

The nav mode has been done for a while now, just been waiting for the mileage shot. Been using it less so it’s not climbing up so high these days.

Your SOS error is so weird! If I can get my dash to scan properly I’ll send you a new scan. Haven’t done the wheel buttons yet.

Clean paint, make sure it’s well polished then cleaned with panel wipe before the ceramic. Keep the panel temps nice and warm if you can and keep it dry for 24 hours. I have layered with C2V3 also :)
