A set of track wheels and tyres

Alsp a few accessories I keep meaning to get:

Spare tyre

Prediction:

Sasha: Nothing

Also Sasha: I just ordered this, this and this.

For me I hope to finally have time to check out the OBDEleven dongle I've had sat on the shelf since I got the car back in April and make a few tweaks. No purchases planned as yet but maybe a set of the LED swiping mirror indicators.

I’ve not even had my car 2 weeks yet and already have the below on order....eek!!

Scorpion car back

Remap

Front splitter & side skirts

OBDeleven

Also debadged and will be ordering black Skoda emblem badges at some point and getting the windows tinted.

Thinking about some springs as well, but to be decided on that. Also thinking of getting the roof wrapped in gloss black along with the front lip of the bumper.

I have already fitted a Ramair turbo elbow and intake system & paddle shift extenders.

Very funny :D This year will see the virtual cockpit installed (I’m hoping next week) then a new radio to match to get the map mode working. After that, interior tech is being left alone. This years focus is getting the bodywork up to scratch including having the alloys refurbished, some paintwork done, Reiger front and rear splitters and sorting a detachable towbar. That, along with one or two other bits is about all that’s going to happen. It’s also going to hit 100k miles before the end of the month so it’ll need another DSG service this year and maybe some suspension work to sort that awful creaking noise. There’s always stuff to do :)

Whats the creaking noise.  Mines started doing this, particularly going over speed humps or accelerating onan undulating road.  I did wonder if it was sub frame creak ...

For the first time in over 2 months, I found time to clean it today. Good start to the new year!

Nothing major planned for 2019; Dynamic Mirror Indicators are on their way currently, and I've started a little minor sound Deadening project. Needs a full clay and DA polish once the weather gets better too.

MOT next week

Its going to need 4 tyres in the next 10k miles.

Nothing exciting, but I enjoy reading about you guys blinging up the vRS’s, there’s some really interesting mods being done and some impressive work.

Was originally going to get rid.......... but decided against it!

So...... already fitted a Rieger rear diffuser yesterday.

Also just ordered from SuperSkoda (took advantage of the 20% discount!):-

Front & rear mudflaps

Gloss black rear bumper protector

Black Skoda badges with Candy White background

At some point I would like to refurb the 18” Gemini’s in Black & Diamond cut.

No it was my knees & hip.

Thinking about VCDS, but new boot liner, new Turini 18" black alloys (finances permitting), new tyres (especially if it comes with Pirelli P-Zeros).

Was thinking about having it tuned, until I saw the price of the bits! Also can you retrofit the rear camera?

Avoid P Zero’s at all costs!! I hate them on my car, have ruined it compared to the PS4’s that were on it before. Luckily a diamond cutting specialist has opened near me so I’m rotating my tyres around the car and I’m now at an even 3.5mm all over. When they get down to 2 I’ll book the wheels in for refurb and a set of 235/35/19 PS4’s.

Regarding a reverse camera, yes you can retrofit for under £20. I’ve done it on my car :)

Probably top mounts, could be subframe though. It also has a weird squeal on hard lock to the left that happens when the steering rack gets wet. Oh and the windscreen is cracked in 2 places. That’s an insurance job if ever there was one!!

That's what I've got now, this car should be gone in the next 6 weeks and new one arrive, but if that's got the awful P-Zero's then I'll be looking at either Camskill or Black Circles for some Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3's or PS4's instead. I can only hope that they last 6 weeks.

New set of GY Eagle F1 Assy 3s ASAP (Tyres on the Drive looking good at £79.50 each fitted) and a Revo Stage 1 soonish.

Hmmmm not a match made in heaven, I drive a friend's Mk1 vRS mapped to about 260 & another member of the South East meet with a Tuningbox on a Mk3 vRD. Neither were impressed with EA3s & the vRD had loved them before the tuningbox was fitted.

Get the app on your phone already. You get 1 free credit/day when you open the app and can receive an extra credit for each video ad you watch (up to 5/day). The credits are then used for "apps" which are a quick means of making changes such as  enabling cornering fogs.

Updates for me this year:

Winter wheels - Done (although I had to change insurance provider at renewal as QMH wouldn't cover me with modified alloys)

Fit rear mud guards - have done the fronts but need to remove the wheels for rears

Change rear indicators and reversing bulbs to LED

Change front fogs to LED

Bonnet struts

Paint correction - stonechips at front, scratch on the bootlid from some idiot in a carpark

Floor mats - The drivers side mat had worn through by 40k miles

Rear sill guards + 3m clear tape as my son now wants to climb in by himself

Hardwire the dashcam
