I have installed the entire system in the car and in the next few days I am going to buy the original VAS6154 so that I can remove the cp. Is there a guide or someone who could help me? Thanks in advance.

You will need access to ODIS On-line to remove CP for new added 3C module and a dongle/tool capable for SFD Unlock dedicated modules (CU17, CU19) to make the necessary codding.

I'm curious about the progress of your project. I hope you succeed. I couldn't and gave up.

It isn’t just the BCM that’s protected by SFD2 (ie VWAGs implementation of the UNECE R155 R156 security measures)

Many modules are protected however where there’s a will, there’s a way - just not for DIYers

OBDeleven is sufficient to unlock SFD1, then you're free to do what you want with other tools

Why did you give up? 🤔 It’s a simple task, your local workshop just isn’t capable of it

I couldn't register the radars to the BCM (couldn't remove the CP). So after a few tries, I gave up. My car is from a lease, so I didn't want to push it any further.

Reference to parts for sale. No selling on here unless you have Freedom or Freedom Lite membership.

As mentioned above, the gateway is CP master, not BCM

CP removal is a simple task, I've no idea why your local specialist cannot do it. Seems silly to go through all the effort and give up at what should be the easiest part

So sad to learn you can't diy your car anymore, my car has SFD 1 and even with obdeleven I don't know if I can unlock itt and the swap to vcds to do the adaptations

The vcds I have is a clone one bought it with 40 Euros , but another 150 Euros for obdeleven just to unlock sfd once ?? It's a lot
