  2. Hi I download from MIB Vault the 3.3gb file MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0369T. However this variant is for Amundsen (Navigation). I have the Bolero (Non-Navigation). Has anyone got a link for the Bolero update? Cheers Dale

  4. So is it now good? Thanks. AG Falco
  5. Disappointing no one has replied to you yet. Kodaq owners must be shy I'm not a Kodaq owner but should be this coming week, although only the basic PHEV version offered here is Australia so no pano roof and I'll be suffering from 'techshock' when it does arrive due to my current cars being pretty old. Kudos to you for checking the user manual before asking, surprisingly few do. If the Pano roof opening and closing link to unlocking and locking is not in the user manual, then it is probably not an option. Might be worth exploring VCDS options but if you cannot operate the opening/closing from the screen (only the physical switch) then I would be pessimistic. Page 141 in the Kodiaq User Manual tells you how to turn off the speed warnings or increase the warning threshold. Unlikely to be able to shorten the minimum distance on the ACC (VCDS again?). Best bet would be to estimate the minimum distance it is leaving and check with the dealer if it is correctly set. I was initially stunned when I drove in the UK (on the M25) by how close people drive at speed to the car in front. Took me a while to adjust to prevent the same problem of people jumping into the gap I left. Of course, BMW drivers did it without indicating. I've no real experience of wireless chargers but they are only rated for 15 watts and even that rate may be compromised by whatever protection holder you may be using for the phone? Glad you are enjoying your car overall though.

  11. I'm not too bothered about a big turbo at my age, I used to work for Porsche in the 90's, I've had a Bi turbo A6 Allroad and two S4's a 1000 Exup Yamaha and Honda Fireblade, got the speed thing out of my system now...... I thought. I've seen too many AdBlue system and DPF issues to put me off enough to consider a petrol this time around. Suffered an AdBlue tank heater and a low pressure pump code recently resulting in new tank unit on my T6.1 van, it's only done 40K. Moisture ingress to the ecu caused the heater to fail and pump not building pressure sporadic. I've seen nibbled injector pipe and harnesses, constant regens from blocked low pressure egrs, coolant leaks in the coolers the list goes on.....But that torque punch of a diesel and the tank mileage can't be ignorned. Its not the car which makes me stop off now on a long run, it's my inability to go too long without the loo which hinders the progress these days 😄 .... Hmmmmm not sure I can cross over. Got a week to decide, and thats what I am bad at....HELP ☺️
  12. I use the VWG diesel additive, never had an issue with the EGR valve touch wood. I have seen lots that have failed, trying to keep on top of the sludge is the key and turning the ejector nozzle next to the V157 valve must have helped mine, think I posted a how to way back when....
  13. Wrong colour and wrong seats to be my perfect one 😮
  14. Well, I checked both possibilities, but unfortunately, the results were negative. The trunk (spare wheel compartment) was dry, just as you would have hoped. I also checked the drainage holes in the passenger doors. They were reasonably clean. Not spotless, but all the drainage holes were completely clear. The left rear passenger door (behind the driver's door) was by far the dirtiest of them all. However, there was nothing extreme, which is a shame because I was hoping to find something more obvious. Too bad, but thanks all for your help! Cheers!!

  20. According to LLLparts 03C 907 660 M was replaced by 03C907660T. The Hella part number I think should be 6PR 013 680-011 according to autodoc etc If its the correct hella number it maybe a wiring, connection issue. Check for worn or broken wiring. Alasdair
  21. Have you read the thread I linked?
  22. Where exactly is the oil level on the dip stick (if fitted) when checked correctly?
  23. I see that you have a TPMS warning up as well.
  24. Before trying to access the reservoir, inspect the gaiters on the tie-rods. Fluid leak might result in one of those filling with PAS fluid and leaking past the clip. If no sign there, then access to the pipework may be best via wheel and arch liner removal rather than from above reservoir. If Rapid is like Fabia, the only thing you'll see from above is the reservoir cap poking up through a hole in the chassis leg. Good for topping up, but not fault finding.
  25. Good morning all. I have recently had the Steering amber warning come up on the dash. I also noticed in a place that I had parked a small drop of fluid on the ground. I assumed it was from another vehicle.I now suspect it is from the steering system .The reservoir is under the battery housing. If I disconnect and remove the battery will I lose all info already in the system. Also,if I am luck enough to find it is a hose leak has anyone changed one of these and if so any advice please. Many thanks in advance, Graham
  26. OBD11 cannot automatically restore a backup. However, you have a different problem now; you need to configure three basic settings in ABS. The coding of your ABS is unique because your vehicle identification number (VIN) is stored within it. Send your VIN per PM

  28. Does the cluster go blank when key is removed and car is locked. When I was working on my sons fabia I left key in ignition and battery went flat over two days. As said it may be a faulty ignition switch and car thinks key is still in it so not shutting down. Alasdair
  29. Your expectation isn't unreasonable, and the Approved Used wording backs you up a bit. On the Skoda Approved Used benefits pages that retailers publish (Marshall Skoda's, for example), the line is "all service work has been completed if due within 6 months, including your vehicle's cambelt", along with the 100+ point inspection and a copy of the report at collection. I'd find the same page on your selling dealer's own website, screenshot it, and ask them for the actual inspection report rather than the A4 prep sheet. That report is what says what they checked. Then it comes down to dates. Ask Worthing to print the maintenance list showing when each of the three items fell due. If any were already overdue, or due within six months of the date you bought it, put that to the selling dealer in writing with the printout and their own Approved Used wording attached. That's a much stronger position than "I think it should have been done". On the fluid question: Skoda's schedule for the Octavia is brake fluid first at 3 years, then every 2 years, whatever the mileage. A 2019 car should show it at 3 years and again at 5, and the next one falls this year, so check the history for both. As yours is a DSG there's no clutch pedal, so there's no separate clutch fluid to worry about. Start/Stop: Approved Used comes with a 30 day / 1,000 mile exchange if a demonstrable fault can't be fixed by the selling retailer. Report it to them in writing now while you're still inside that window, even if it turns out to be nothing more than battery charge. Then it's on record either way, and the 12 month warranty is there behind it.
  30. Sleep pack can be - headrests and you change a section of the door trim for the one with the roller blind cartridge in (and install clips to hook it onto). I looked for that as kids get a fair amount of sun in the rear despite the windows being partially tinted. Went for Snapshades instead - frame with mesh covering but shaped to the rear door opening and magnets hold them in place. Work perfectly and if the kids don’t want them they can take them off and chuck ‘em on the rear parcel shelf. Come from Oz and we’re here within the week.
  31. Hi. Thanks for the reply I’ve tried the fuse 35 and it’s still happening. Does this video help any better? This is the noise I was on about. Cheers TomIMG_5227.mov
  32. Bought it from this listing on eBay. VAT was already included, but a couple of weeks after delivery, UPS slapped me with a £7 customs processing fee on top, which is still not too bad. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/267743686604
