kodiaqsportline. It is on variable servicing, and we were told when we purchased it that servicing would be every 20K miles. The car was purchased new in Dec 2019 with a service plan from the dealer (Arnold Clark Skoda in Inverness) for 4 services and 2 MOTs with no time limit. It was serviced after 11 months at 15000 miles, then again at 21 months at 34000 miles.
I assumed it would get another service plus MOT towards the end of this year, and the same again towards the end of 2023. That would be 4 services and 2 MOT.
As I mentioned earlier, the problem is that it now requires an 'oil service' cost around £180 according to Skoda, after just 4 months and 7000 miles.
My suspicion is that they did not reset it follow the last service.
N.B. Arnold Clark (AC) Skoda in Inverness went out of business just after we purchased the car, but following confirmation from Skoda UK, (to keep warranty good), it could be serviced by any AC service center so long as Skoda parts were used. Which I assume they have been. So it is being serviced by AC Volvo in Inverness.
And when you say "If someone forget to reset the indicator - big deal, nobody should expect a £100 freebie for such a minor oversight", it is a big deal to me if I have to fork out £180 for an oil service after such a short period because someone, (who I paid) forgot to reset the indicator.
