  1. Are you experiencing starting problems, warning lights etc? What made you check for voltages?
  2. Start searching the many threads on this subject
  3. Maybe someone with the same engine could put up a video for comparison?
  4. It's only because of the right hand drive conversion that it's behind the glovebox.
  5. The rear 12v socket is on the same circuit. Check that has power or not.
  6. Look inside and see if you can see the silicate bag.
  7. Mine stays on constantly when in use. Doesn't seem normal. Why would you want a distracting flashing light?
  8. You're right, I've never had that happen.
  9. This is of interest to me, why are you asking if it's DSG?
  10. There are quite a few threads on this subject.
  11. I'd be asking how they knew about the other keys which weren't with the car.
  12. Mines done 60,000 with no problems at all. Had the software and oil recall done, that's all.
  13. You could try disconnecting the battery for a while and see if anything resets its self when reconnected.
  14. You beat me to it. I've been watching a lot of those videos lately.
  15. You need vcd's. Start/stop maybe working because the battery has enough charge in it at the moment.
  16. Without re-coding, the system will assume it still has the old battery and keep the same charging characteristics. It should learn over time that there is a new battery, but in the meantime who knows what faults that could throw up. It's just one thing less to worry about.
  17. Make sure they haven't forgotten to re-code the new battery.
  18. Get it scanned for fault codes. Could be something as simple as a fuse or relay.
  19. If it ain't broke don't fix it. You don't usually get a sudden, total failure of the pump. You'll probably start to notice a slight water loss or the heating not working properly. Then's the time to investigate. No guarantee that if you replace the pump it won't fail in a short time. One think you should check is if the water expansion tank has the wording "mit silikat" stamped on it. If it has, the silica bag inside the tank is prone to rupture and the contents will block your heater matrix which would need repacing. Many people have removed the bag and then change the water every 4 or 5 years. Quite a few threads on this subject.
