Right that's it, I am offically a skoda owner ! My new Mk1
You might think that, but mine (1.9 TDi110) has done about 70_000 miles in my ownership with a "high clutch", and no comments about same from service or repair at garages.

Coil failure
Both badly fouled IMO.

4FA, V71, air not icy, recirc flap not moving
Well one of them ISTR the RH one. The other is the low speed fan, which should start when ever you turn the AC on (or put Climatronic in Auto or Defrost (in Auto, press button with illustration like HRW on AC control panel, which should switch heat to full, interior fan to full and direct air flow to open fascia vents)). Actually, speaking of fascia vents you get best results by leaving all 4 cheesegraters open, and Climate on Auto at preferred temperature and outside air rather than recirculate all the time.

Coil failure
OTOH it is 4 years old, and I'd certainly consider that as lifetime for the spark plugs. How much is 1 (one) coil pack against the trade price of a working car?

Came across this beauty the other day
Not any old Firenza but one of the 204 (two hundred and four) "High Performance" (aka droopsnoot) cars made.

the truth about electric cars
I didn't know the name, but I've seen advertising pictures on YouTube.

Karoq useless Satnav
I think that @Busman104 would like the pratnav to display "now approaching Anytown" rather than waiting until you arrive there and then display "now approaching School Lane" without mentioning Anytown.

Mirror adjusting fault Octavia MK1
I don't know what's wrong (with the car), but strongly suspect broken wires in the driver's door bellows.

Any mini PC users? Geekom, Beelink, Minisforum, etc
AKA "BSOD" (Blue Screen Of Death). Usually these are the responsibility of Microsoft Windows (aka Mickeyshaft Windoze) and not of the hardware manufacturer. The same thing applies to most hovercraft impressions.

Oil leak - can anyone help identify the source?
It might be leaks past those rubbish spring clips. Maybe try replacing them with proper Terry Jubilee clips?

Mk3 octavia vrs tdi downpipe/dpf delete
As an alternative suggestion, you could do a DPFectony which basically consists of removing the internals of the DPF whilst retaining the chamber.

Octavia low beam peoblem
@paulkennedy @Radiogaga Or a lightly burnt connector on the dip switch.

Tie rod end tightened after locknut
Well, it would be, wouldn't it? I mean the lock nut has to be unlocked in order to adjust the trackrod length,

Water in boot hatch and doors, not leaking just not draining away
So the door drains are blocked. Clear them. Dead simples.

Citing ABS and Tracking lights are ON. Stop-Start stopped working.
Buy a multimeter Put it into continuity check mode Connect the probes to the points you wish to check continuity between Read the good/bad continuity from the VDU. Simples.

MOT long list of advisories
Have a close look there, and around the cam cover, for loose bolt(s). I've fixed several oil leaks (not just on my car) by tightening up loose bolts.
