Why would you need the reversing camera on when the object being detected is in front of you?

Well i guess thats just the way it works, if the system detects and obstacle and turns on, then it shows the rear cam on the right, and the sensor graphics on the left of the screen!

I just checked mine while driving in my front gate which is quite tight, the radio stations stay on and the black panel overlays them from the left showing a graphic of the car etc. The camera doesn't activate. I've never tried pressing the P button I'll try that later.

Mine does that as well, but, it stays like that only if you dont go any closer to the obstacle, once the color of the bars change from orange to red it switches to the cam view!

Hey VCDS experts, please help me,...

I have a Skoda Superb 2020 TDI 150 with matrix headlights.

The headlights go out late in the morning and likewise turn on in the early afternoon.
I have actually tried all the combinations proposed here in this forum but I'm not succeeding.

Is there anyone who can help me change the time for turn on and turn off (morning/evening)
I inserted a 00 scan

You cannot adjust the TIME.

Check in the light settings that you have Switch-on time set to LATE.

The lights come on and go off when the light sensor detects the light has dropped to the set limit, nothing is time based.

Adjust in what sense, you were given the answer, the lights are not TIME based, meaning they will not switch on or off at lets say 07:00 in the morning, and will not turn on at 18:00 at evening, they will turn on or off depending on the ambient light, if you look above your rearview mirror, from the outside, you will se a triangle, that is the sensor, if you cover that sensor in broad daylight your lights will turn on, so they are not time dependant, rather light dependant..

In the MIB settings, under lights you will find 3 options to adjust how fast they turn on or off when the sensor requests on or off, thats it, nothing more, nothing to be done via coding!

They will also come on if the wipers come on for more than 3 successive wipes.

I did hope there was a way to be able to code my way out of it. I try different coding options on the RLHS sensor, without any lock.

It seems I just have to accept this. 🙄

What would you like to do? Have it more sensitive, less sensitive, why do you insist on codind, there are 3 option in the cars infotainment.. I just dont know what would you like to achieve?

yes, ur correct. 

if i remember correctly - he altered the amount of lumens at which it reacts to.

the light sensor is triggered by the amount of lumens it picks up, to determine how much light is there, and hence when to turn the lights on/off.

 

in theory, if u reduce the trigger point of the amount of lumens, then it will wait till its much darker before turning on the lights.

however, the same settings in the morning, will turn off the lights much earlier.

yes, without visit CAR -> Settings -> Light

 

most of time i have `Late`

Also, please if you are going to post a full vcds, try and put it inside code tags, takes up a huge amount less space :) just keeps things cleaner.
