No pricing yet, I'm going to guess £30,000K plus

LOL. Where'd you pick that figure from. The Golf GTI won't even be that (base price).

Still not feeling it.... that front end is just so challenging

Global Sales & Appeal.

If you do not like there will be plenty cheap Mk3 vRS pre FL around as Lease Vehicles and Private ones are returned or traded in.

Much Cheapness will be available to those not wanting new, and no Salesperson can say, "As rare as Hens Teeth, worth a premium".

An Un-educated Guess

Is the rear wiper an option in some markets? It's missing in the hatch images above.

..........and 17" wheels as Standard, 18/19's an option

Mock up or not,

the cars delivered to customers will not arrive with a front windscreen or windows or the rear screen and windows privacy glass as dark as in the 'images' published.

the PH text says it's lower than the old (current vRS): "For the chassis, Skoda says this car is 15mm lower and 30mm wider at the rear track than the old vRS"

not aware that a current vRS has a wider track than a regular model (although wider tyres maybe). I would expect for the new car they have the same mechanical setup but the vRS now gets wheels with a lower offset.

Aha - mental note to self: read the article :)

Hmm don't really like the lower grills. Not sure white was the best colour for promo shots either.

It's already priced at a level I wouldn't consider a VRS so any high just doubles down on that.

Finest Kind.....

Blast it - I was hoping the FL VRS would look dreadful - and here I am salivating.

I have no doubt that the 17" wheels will only apply to the markets that offer them on the current car (France being one notable market). Here in Ireland the 18" Pictoris are standard whereas the 18" Anthracite Geminis are a ~€300 option. Am I right in saying they're standard in the UK? If so - I have little doubt that it will remain that way when the FL arrives.

I take it that the emissions are increased due to the widened track? Will be interesting to see what it's like in the flesh..! :)

they just ****ed it up, both fron light / grill + read light in cluster.

time to buy superb sportline 280 before they ruin that as well

Why would a wider track make the slightest difference to emissions?

Higher CdA value?

The new front-end is the pinnacle of blandness. Even with the VRS's beefier front spoiler and Xenon's it still looks the wrong side of mediocre.

That's a bit of a leap, surely?

That's a bit of a leap, surely?

It won't be over £30K. Unless you tick every available option. Between £25k-£26K is my guess.

My prediction is that it will go something like this.

"Lets not talk about how much we can give you for your vRS, lets see the figure to have you drive away in a new vRS!"

The FL is showing on CZ configuration.

Available in the best colours :)

Still ugly!

230 as standard will depreciate the existing 230 'specials'.....unless you can't stand the face lift. .lol

Cant see it being anymore than 2-3% more than the existing model.

Will the FL 230 come with the Fancy front Diff ?

Higher CdA value?

I'm no engineer and happy to be corrected, but really? Wouldn't the wind resistance be the same - same width of tyres, different position - perhaps it would even improve, as the wheels will sit more flush with the arches, possibly reducing drag? :p
