Looks like there painting all of them then.

It's rumoured the Pre FL 230 pumps out 250/260 BHP. " Do you think the FL version will do the same ", with a black spoiler

Edited by Auric Goldfinger

They should have 230ps minimum at 40*oC plus and 5,000 feet or more above sea level or such extremes with 95 octane petrol,

so 250/260 ps with the correct stickers & Super Unleaded......

On a dynamic Dyno with cool air blowing into the intakes.

Just doesn't look different enough to me from my current vRS, which will be replaced in 2017. I was really hoping for something different from the vRS from a styling front but fails to deliver in my opinion .Really like the car and was set on replacing with another vRS but a DSG, but will wait on price announcement and if any offers available from Skoda UK, like the previous 0% and 3 years free servicing.

i actually like the front end

The headlights?! What's wrong with them?!

How about "what the hell's the mustachio grill all about"?!! :-)

I like it. Happily have one!

Race Blue, of course!

combi in white ,perfect

Any bigger and they'll have to start building the car around the bloody grill...

It won't be over £30K.

It's the Panto season  " OH YES IT WILL,"  "OH NO IT WONT ".......you get my drift....

He's behind you!

Starting at £27,990.

Piston Heads not quite up to speed on Skoda "The diesel is available in front-wheel drive with a manual or DSG, plus there's an all-wheel drive variant that's DSG only"

Oh no it isn't.

Here are the full size images direct from Skoda of the facelift vRS.

I think that looks half decent. Big rims and a highly polished car help but it looks sharp, angular and purposeful. The current model is one of the most bland models on the market so the face-lift is no bad thing in my opinion.

Taxi? Bahnhof, bitte!

Just read this whole thread. Much hate for the new lights!

Then the vRS images arrive & the comments are much more positive!

I quite like the new lights! Better looking than my Mk 2 FL vRS all day long.

I'd love a Mk 3 FL DSG Estate - Petrol, Brilliant Silver Metallic, Columbus, Pano roof etc.

230 PS would be awsome too.

Each to their own!

Taxi? Bahnhof, bitte!

German taxi = Cream, not Pink, shirly?

I quite like it. I think it comes together nice. I'd like to see it with halogens as that will be its 'worst' config. I haven't seen any non top of the range pictures.

German taxi = Cream, not Pink, shirly?

Looked pale beige on my screen

I think this is more a German taxi colour. Colour "White Coffee" :)

After being initially unsure on the standard model facelift, must say I'm ok with this, think the face is going to suit a dark grill e.g. black pack in the VRS.

Another point of view would be to worry more about how it drives, comfort/support levels and the tech you get as unless its your some kind of collector I don't know anyone who would buy a car to sit and look at it as some piece of art.

After all people bought PT Cruisers in both standard and convertible form, Nissan Jukes are popular despite looking fugly and any variant of the Prius is hardly a work of art, especially the latest which looks like someone sat on the clay model.

If they are bringing back the 4x4 I think I may hold on that bit longer to see if a tempting 0% deal is offered.

I have been looking at a Sportline Superb, but factoring in SWMBO thinks its 'too big' (when have the ladies ever complained about that before?) and justifying the extra cost for one, so I'm steered back to the Octavia.

So come on 2017 hurry up I may yet get a rallye green 4x4 DSG VRS Octavia that I've been wanting for a while now......other colours are also available.

I'm no engineer and happy to be corrected, but really? Wouldn't the wind resistance be the same - same width of tyres, different position - perhaps it would even improve, as the wheels will sit more flush with the arches, possibly reducing drag? :p

The rotating face of the wheels being further out will increase the drag effect on the airflow going past them.

I think this is more a German taxi colour. Colour "White Coffee" :)

I was on my phone and didn't bother trying the configurator for myself
