Good point, first quote wouldn't let me change the mileage. I did look at PCP and it was 550 with Winchester Motor Company, with 4k carwow discount and with a grand down so I went down the PCH route.

Mine was 16800 for 3 years including maintenance with 12k a year ...lapiz blue, dcc and dynaudio and it was worth it. Fantastic car. I recommend it to everybody. Vrs 245 is a disappointment compare to golf r.

Mate that is far far more expensive than the vrs 245 leasing deals that many of us have gone for, so it's not really a good comparison.

Think  we all know the more you put down the cheaper the monthly payments my 245 we £2470 down and £179 monthly on basic. £20 extra for dsg and £25 on top for DCC hence my monthly payment is £224 ish

I sat down with my dealer and the initial deposit didn’t make a difference when I totalled up over the full period - so got a 3 yr deal at £267 p/mth with no deposit on 12k pa and no admin fees. For manual hatch with no options

Vrs 245 dsg hatch in corrida red with dcc and spare wheel for 2 years with 8k a year will cost me about 6800 ( including fee )

Golf r 310 dsg awd in white with dcc for 2 years with 8k a year will cost me about 8800 ( including fee )

Tomorrow morning I'm calling my lease company and Im hoping they will allow me to cancel skoda and replace it with golf. It is only 77 pounds more a month.  I wont have to wait so long and it is much better car overall. Fingers crossed :)

edit: you can get it down to 8600 with uchoose contracts
