Yes but only if unit has not been hacked otherwise you most probably kill your hack.

If you don't have it in your current list of languages then the answer is NO. It MIGHT be in SW versions 04xx (I have not checked it but if you send me reminder on PM can do it tonight) but it's not possible to make regular update from 03xx to 04xx.

Hi, hardware version H30, I think I'm quite behind with the firmware.

 

Hi guys, I have a question regarding this firmware update. A friend of mine did something similar for a bolero head unit and the main reason he did the update was because he was told that the sound quality would be greatly improved. And so it did. I asked around and from the feedback I received, if I do this update, it will greatly improve the sound quality of my Columbus Mib2 to even sound better that the basic Canton unit. It's something regarding some parameters update or so. Do you know from your experience if these 2 aspects (firmware update and sound quality) are related?

You have to hack the MIB system and of course we don't recommend you do that.   It is an FeC (or a Feature Enabled Code) - which will cost you about 150 odd euros to enable from your local SKODA dealer.

You should also consider updating your firmware to the latest and if you press/hold MENU, go to Version and Version information, take a photo of that screen and we can advise.
