Finally got Gandalf tinted this morning!!

Front windows with UltraGard nano+ceramic 42% VLT.

Rear side and boot windows with clear tint 75% VLT.

Happy with results. Just in time for summer!

Finally after months of sitting on the shelf, I added the Power Magic Pro to my existing Blackvue dashcam setup.

Install was straight forward but I wish they included instructions to "start the car" cause I thought the unit was faulty when I turned the ignition on to ACC only and nothing happened!!!

I initially removed it and was about to return it, but after some further research/investigation - I saw the car needed to b started for the unit to spring into action for the first time.

The glovebox conveniently had a pre-drilled small hole, from factory, against the felt backing, for me to route the wires through.

Allows for the Power Magic Pro to b out of sight, yet easily accessible :)

Prevents the battery from being sucked dry by the dashcam.. I believe you can preset the voltage at which it will cut out the dashcam

The Power Magic Pro allows the dashcam to run after the car is switched off, i.e. parking mode.

Any bumps and motion will b detected and recorded.

I already had a Blackvue Dashcam installed before, but it was setup to only work while the car is on.

Now my dashcam can run in parking mode, when the car is off.

With the module, u can preset it to stop parking mode based on time (hrs) and/or voltage cutoff (V).

Or U can manually switch it off so it only works while the car is on.

Pulling out all the stops again man! Always so helpful for people.

Looks good, how much did they set you back?

Got it for dirt cheap from a person who bought it a while ago from Kopacek, but wasn't feeling confident to do the install.

Cost me less than a third than if I were to buy it from Kopacek now, which is on a special price.

Otherwise I wouldn't have got it, at the "normal" price.

So it was an opportunity I couldn't pass.

Rear console 12v socket converted to Dual USB ports (in progress)

I'm looking to do this but I cannot find a way to remove the tray safely. Any ideas?

Scratch that, got it removed after sitting staring at it for a while.

Gently (and I mean gently) pull on the bottom RHS to dislodge the 'pin', once that's dislodged move to the upper right stop and wiggle that out. Then, using small movements, wiggle the whole thing to the right at a slight angle and out it pops.

Removing the 12v socket was a pain as I assumed it all came out as one piece. It doesn't! Pop the metal part out then the plastic surround comes out easily. Handily there's a plug to unclip so you can just remove the whole lot and do the wiring on a bench.

I now have twin USB in the rear using one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B09J2LPJCH/

Apologies @JR RS for the hijack :)

The charger is illuminated all the time yes/no - what sort of drain does it put on the battery?

I'm thinking 2 weeks parked up at the airport scenario.........

When the car is unlocked it lights up. Haven't checked whether it powers down after a certain amount of time after locking.

The one I have that has a separate switch to turn the charger on/off, including the light illumination.

I have not seen one like this before, and I like it.

It’d be nice if the ‘elves’ in China could develop the device one step further and have it turn on/off via the insertion of the usb cable…

Bought it secondhand of a friend who sold his Superb.

Alcantara version is nice, but I have perforated leather seats, so this version steering wheel suits perfectly.

Was the airbag the same?

and how much did it set you back?

I got the wheel without the airbag.

So I simply remove the airbag off old wheel, and put in other wheel.

Straight fit.

As I mentioned before, I got it secondhand, for $200 AUD.
