I was assuming that I would get OBDeleven to do the codings, but as I said, this is all new to me.

 

Will this work on Mk4 Facelift?

SK Mk4 FL is using SFD2 which might be new to OBD11. Better to check with Voltas Support Team.

SFD2 is a new "protection" scheme from VW, it makes it impossible to even scan modules for faults without a trick.

 

The latest release of VCDS has a workaround to be able to scan modules, but not yet to be able to change settings which are locked by SFD (they're working on it but VW moves at a glacial speed).

 

Maybe the answer is to scan using the latest VCDS, but then make changes using OBDeleven which does have an SFD unlock mechanism?

Gulp, this all sounds a bit complicated for a novice like me...

I would so like to be able to pick normal Cruise Control though, Adaptive is just horrible. At the weekend I was doing 30mph with Cruise set, passing a parked car, and it hit the brakes bringing me to 15mph before I realised what was happening. It's just dangerous.  Luckily there was nobody behind me.

Sounds like the front radar could be out of alignment if it's detecting a vehicle effectively in the lane to your left as being in front.

I think I was moving across to pass the parked car, so there may have been a point at which the parked car came within the radar's scope.  I guess that if I had been indicating, it wouldn't have happened, but I was brought up to think (Police / ROSPA driving course many years ago) that if no other road user can benefit from you indicating, don't bother.

somehow, after disable/enable the vrs theme, the comfort indicator blinks 2-times. Before the operation, it blinks 3-times.

The coding for the comfort turn signal is:
 

Unit 09->Adaptations->Light_control->Comfort flasher set point:3 (MAX VALUE)

Bear in mind that there is a restriction to max value of 3 for the MQB-Evo platform, compared to previous MQB platform.

Even so, I don't quite understand why this happened since you coded the vRS theme (unit 17(VC) and unit 5F(MIB3), both are handling the coding for vRS appearances) , BUT unit 09 - Central Electrics has been affected. Have you used any 1-click apps?

yes, I have used the One-Click app for vrs theme.

I’ve already tried the codding, but without success.

Trunk open, ignition on, parking brake on, saving with success! 
MIB restart.

The value is 3 but the blink stay stick on 2 times.

In the MIB have you tried the menu option to reset lighting values? This makes the MIB software re-read the user values.

I cannot find that option, can u be more specific?

i only have Reset all car, loosing all the configuration (which I don’t want anymore ), cannot find the reset for the lights module, I got your point!

I have a MIB2 so I'm assuming that option still exists on the MIB3, maybe that's a bad assumption? Hopefully other IV owners will chime in..

The problem with the One-Click app is you never know what it's done, and if it's not correct for the versions of software in your car then all bets are off. IMHO the One-Click app is a very dangerous thing.

Just received OBDeleven ultimate pack and tried to activate a few things on my Skoda O4 2020, unfortunately without result:

1. CarPlay activation without cable is not working; it is working with cable but via WIFI, not... I have activated thru OBD, can you please give me some support?

2. Cornering I have turned on but when I try to see if is working, without moving the car, nothing happens. :-( I have also activated fog with high beams. Does this impact somehow cornerring?

   I have attached few pictures.

Cornering fog lights only works when moving.

@cristianvelicu ,

Often, after 09-CU coding you need to perform a bus rest. This means you lock the car and take the key far away so that the CAN bus network enters a rest state and at the end the communication resets.

I saw in your pictures the part number, and I was looking your swing radio have BT and WIFI, so is 100% compatible... in my case, my swing radio just have BT.

Actually, you show a picture (last radio menu) with wifi connection to CarPlay, so I guess is working

unfortunately, it is not working; when try to connect, the phone does not see the wifi of the unit and when try to activate the wifi on it ... the tick box does not work :-(

This option helped to activate wifi for android car wirelessly

Hi, I'm bringing up the old thread again. Does anyone happen to know if it's possible to activate the Canton equalizer interface with the presets (like Speech, etc.)?
