Has anybody here had 1896 updated to 1941 OTA yet from the UK?

 

I am tempted (daily!) to update the software myself as per the instructions in this thread but i'm worried i'll f it up somehow! (or that it'll cause issues futher down the line).

If you're careful and follow the instructions to the letter then you'll be fine. 

Thanks to everyone who has given me the opportunity to install the new 1941 software on my car. Everything seems to work as it should :) It's a pleasure to find this site with Google :)

Have just had first service and dealer updated from 1896 t0 1941 .

 

So i  got the webpages with the software. Much thx for that.

Download is taking very long and often interrupted.

 

Finally got the file only when i decompres the file i got header errors. Anyone a idea what is wrong or do i do wrong.  Trying other download but came with the same error.

I've just found the below message in one of  "Skoda software versions" threads from German forum:

The car dealership had just offered a colleague a software update to 1948... Interesting? Anyone info? He already has the 1941, so no confusion. 

Anyone else knows something about the new version?

TBQH I'm very wary of software updates from them as they have caused so much angst, stress & problems with owners vehicles including my own. Luckily after the last very OTA updates I've had no issue, however from reading this thread I know that some posters on here have.

Mine is at the dealer so will report when back on what they did and if it worked.

Mine is at the dealer too for almost a month although it was once again in the beginning of September.

I was told that they did “recovery update” and it should be perfect. A man from the service drove the car about 150km, talking with android phone trough the car and there were no problems. I took the car, I’ve connected it with my iPhone 12 mini and the same evening the **** happened again I thing it is from the phone but not 100% sure.

They gave me Scala to drive during my O4 is in the service  since 15th of September and I am still waiting.

I made a call last week and the dealer told me that they are going to replace something like “control unit”, but they are waiting it to come from Czech factory.

I will have the car next and I hope that this time I will be happy. I will write again to give you feedback.

A member of the german skoda forum confirmed that he got 1941 via OTA (1900 before).

Please make sure you download the file named MOI3_EU_SK_R9410L MU1941_SK20230615S.7z.

Got the car today - 1941 installed. Will report in a few days if it fixed the glitch.

Same here got the 1941 installed , so far so good . It is a very good car when the system is working !

on 18th October 2023 I officially received the 1941 update via OTA (previous version 1900).
Dring the next few days 3 more small App and Manal update were performed.

Based on the information that I've found on the German forum, only those cars with MIB 3, Hardware Version H61, Software Version 1900 will receive OTA update to v1941.

Szia, minden automatikusan történt minden bejelentés nélkül, csak sokat kellet várni rá 🙂. Az autót 05/2023-ban gyártották.

Köszi a választ! Én már levélben jeleztem a feléjük a hibát, de még nem hívtak ez ügyben.

Jó lenne ha megoldódna mert már elég idegesítő az reboot.
