My Scala originally came with 0451 and the previous owner updated directly to 0469.

As far as I know infotainment in scala is in two hardware versions. Older hardware is with stock fw 0469, and last possible fw version for this hardware is 742. Newer version of hardware, for example mine scala from 2021 year has stock 1310 fw, and I successfully updated it to 1800 fw. Few lines early in this topic someone tryied to update from xxx firmware version to xxxx, and it fails. Maybe someone with more knowledge will correct me and say more about it. Do not risk update to brick your system. Update only if you have reason,not for fun.

Android Auto works only via bluetooth on my new phone.

Originally I thought it doesn't work at all, but you have to unplug the phone and restart the radio, then bluetooth AA connects and you can plug the phone back in for charging.

Edit: you also have to make sure the bluetooth name is the same as listed on the radio's AA tab. Don't know why, but somehow it works that way.

 

Since I've found a workaround, I will stay on 0469 since I don't want to mess with it.

for to prepar usb it's necessary

1-format in exFAt

2- créat an folder and it must be named the name for update for exemple MEN3_EU_SK370_P3355L_1800

you can update safely to 0741 and then 0742

I have 1310 installed in my car. After reading on this forum 1800 update is the latest one.
Do anyone have the changelog for updates between 1310 to 1800?

 

Does the update introduce some new features or only fixes?

 

Is their a risk to brick something if i download the updates on this forum? The guys where i bought the car wanted 100 USD to install the update.
Can I buy any USB C to USB convertor to plug in my USB memory?

Can I install 1800 update direcly or i need to jump step by step?

Anyway - got skoda scala 2020 with 0463 software version.

Android auto isn't working with my new phone (Xiaomi Poco F6), while it does work great with many other older phone models, including other Xiaomi phone with same android version (14).

 

How can I upgrade the car software version?

What are the steps?

I also got sw version 463 with 040 hardware version, trying to make sure I'm good to go.

 

Also, how much time does it approximatly take for an upgrade? 

Did you leave the engine running or connected the battery to a charger?

I have Skoda scala 2021 with software 1310. Can I update from 1310 to 1790 and after that to 1800? I'm confused reading all the problems during update.

Ok . I found it.

 

Update passed correctly.

 

Before update my problem was to not have menu closing and windows. 

 

I was thinking it's maybe software problem but still nothing. 

 

I checked also obdeleven and it seems to be good and menu doesn't appear.

I have a 2020 Scala with Bolero updated to MEN3_EU_SK370_P2135P 0742.

Android Auto was working with my old phone but it's not working with my new Xiaomi 14 on Android 14.

I'm afraid to be stuck at 0742, can I upgrade to a newer version ? Do I have a chance to make it works or will I have to buy a wireless AA module ?

I had software MEN3_EU_SK370_P2345L_1790. I managed to update to MEN3_EU_SK370_P3225L_1798, but when I tried to update to MEN3_EU_SK370_P3355L_1800, I got the error "35 No release available." 

I would like to know what I should do to get the update to 1800

 

 

Why you update from 1790 to 1798 ?

 

I updated my scala from 1310 directly to 1800 with no problems.

 

Do you use correct file to update ?

Have you reset device after update (long press power button or menu button, I don't remember).

I updated it to 1798 because I got this error (I tried at the beginning straight to 1800), so I tried upgrading steeply to see if it resolved the problem.

I got the two files (1798 & 1800) from the link found on this topic (https://disk.yandex.ru/d/1V1uBTc8ssc3zA). I'm unsure if the "1800" file was downloaded with an error or when I unzipped them, but I tried with a file from (https://mibsolution.one/) this morning, and it worked.

Thanks anyway for taking the time to reply and for giving the link.

 

For information, this upgrade (to the 1800 version) fixes my AA connection with my One Plus 11 5G EU.
