2000 - price for full kit, also oem logic of 360 is very stupid. And need to customize skins for Superb on MIB2

Thats looks weird:

The control unit is incorrectly coded here; furthermore, the front camera can be selected, so only the front is visible.

One small project done

One “SMALL” project done ??? I’d love to know what other “small” projects you are thinking about doing

And I’d love to know how to do the jobs myself too ( or if you’re thinking of selling the kits),,, love to try the massage chair too

Looks really good @zacko_O - really neat job too.

After a long time of procrastination, finally replaced spark plugs and coils, which I went for RL upgraded ones. Quick run of a few kms just to check, no issues so far.

One less thing to do ... next in the line is the very-posponed Haldex screen clean.

Hi,

How many kilometer since your latest Haldex oil replacement (and hopefully, screen cleaning) ? How long ago ?

I forgot to mention, plugs are NGK "Laser Platinum" PLFER7A8EG, given as equivalent to OE. NGK number 94833 ... Made in Thailand.

Now is the time you will "sacre bleu" me 😁(does anyone still use this expression?) but I have neglected brutally this subject.

Unfortunately, many other things have jumped in the way, generally more priority and expensive than the pump if it was to fail. Is not an excuse, just a constatation.

This said, in my log I have asked Skoda (this was during warranty period) to make the service, this was in July 24 at 43,500km, to replace oil and clean the screen.

They said they did, but since I do not trust anyone anymore, I bought the kit you illustrated (including bolts and gaskets) and thought of doing this at the earliest opportunity.

Believe it or not, we are at July 26 and 62,500km and have not done it yet ... ☹️

Wanted to do it before the seaside holiday trip (expected 750/800km overall, tops 1500km if I need to come back for work and go again), but I am buried in work and cannot free myself to do it, nor I do not want to bother engaging anyone ... I hope it lasts until then, after I will have a respite until September and will do it 100%.

Started getting a loud noise at high revs recently, sounds like a resonating heat shield . Had a poke around under the bonnet and found that the engine cover wasn't fully clipped down. Sorting this out seems to have cured it 😀

Also tightened a loose bolt on my motorcycle which I hope fixes a noise on that too, a good day!

Worthwhile getting the kit with the oil filler cap as that pushes the combined increase closer to 15bhp. 😂

I better not, need to get used to all that brutal power increase before going for more 😂

Recently upgraded to newer iPhone with USB-C connection rather than lightning. So today’s task was routing a new 90degree USB-C cable from the rear ashtray through to the armrest cubby to replace the lightning one.

I pulled the old one out with some wire attached and used it to pull the new one through. All done and dusted in 5 mins.

Hopefully get a chance to change front brakes and have a go at installing the aftermarket blind spot kit this week.

I’ve installed that one too, along with the VWR600 intake, oil filter housing, and DSG filter housing.

Apart from that, a few carbon fiber parts as well.

How much effort was the initial fitting?

If love a usb socket in the arm rest cubby as I use wireless android auto and could do with keeping phone cool. Also it means I can close the little cover over the usb/12 V socket and make things look tidy.

As an aside the power tailgate seems to have stopped working today. Goes up about 1/3rd of the way and stops and beeps. Won't go up or down. Just beeps 3 times. Can move it down a bit and the the button will close it.

OBD11 gives an error message: Hall sensor in motor 1 for rear hatch - B121115

I've got a warranty from the dealership so hopefully they can sort - feels wrong though. I've always fixed all my own previous car problems

Not bad at all. Original concept is attributed to @JR RS he installed a usb socket instead of cigarette lighter in the rear ash tray and then routed the cable through. You need a 90degree plug into the adapter. There’s a hole under the felt you can come out of. I did similar but used a slimline usb socket plugged in that is low profile enough to still allow ash tray to be opened.

I also have a MagSafe wireless charger mounted at the front fed in a similar way from the front lighter socket but I find the phone gets hot on long journeys. Handy for short ones though. And I plug in in the armrest and cool phone as you say for longer journeys.

That looks very smart 😍 i love those carbon fibre 💪🏻 where did you get the inlet manifold cover and battery cover from please? My engine bay looks bare compared to yours 😣IMG_20260530_141720~2.jpg

Yesterday i took out air filter and omg was it filthy 👀 last time I've cleaned it was in April this year before going stage 2. Got Ramair filter cleaning kit so gave it a good wash and rinse and left it to dry for 24 hours. Today i oiled it with oil supplied in cleaning kit and fitted it back💪🏻
