How come F1 has no issue with Corona virus?

Formula E has just cancelled their 3rd event and MotoGP has binned 4.

Does Liberty have the clout to lean on governments and health authorities now?

Or are their wheels about to come off?

See Tom Hanks and his wife caught Covid 19 whilst in Australia. Not sure whether they were planning to go the Melbourne on Sunday but they are obviously in isolation now. At least one McLaren team member has it also, 2 others were being tested.

BBC now reporting that the Australian F1 GP is cancelled.

Just chief writer Andrew Benson trying to pre empt the decision and claim a scoop. Australian, Victoria, and Melbourne media not reporting cancellation yet.

I heard it on Radio 5 live. They did say that it wasn't official as it was 3:30 am in Melbourne.

Looks like they are indeed coming off. Watch Liberty's share price go!

Aus GP organiser says it's going ahead. Authorities say the public won't be allowed in. What is going on?

Liberty F1 has shed 27% of its value in 2 days. Liberty Media down nearly 50% in a month. Is F1 heading for bankruptcy?

There has been no official confirmation yet but Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel and Alfa Romeo's Kimi Raikkonen have flown home.

Yeah I read that but it's Bonzo Benson reporting again. His previous "Gp cancelled" article has had nearly 1000 comments/ complaints already.

It's shocking that F1 and FIA are staying completely silent on this.

What happens if Liberty go out of business? Asset strippers get F1? Bernie gets F1?

Edit. Joint statement on FIA website now...

Strangely Indycar has cancelled it's season too... but again only until May. Just like F1, Indycar cannot contemplate losing its jewel in the crown. The 500 and the Monaco GP are on the same day and absolutely must go ahead or F1 and Indycar will both be bankrupt.
