You should hold down the Menu/Setup button for about 10 seconds to locate your Software Train value, post back value.

You could update at home, dealers usually don't bother unless you make "correct" complaint of some bugs, they match this and then find update and apply.

Thanks I just updated I will test tomorrow at the end was message about connecting some tester but some guy mentioned about it and there could be an error when checking by vcds will see many thanks

Yes there will be a stored error that won't affect operation of the unit.

 

It can be cleared with VCDS and generating a checksum.

Dear experts, I'm also looking for latest firmware update. Having currently version 0475 (MIB2 Amundsen in an Octavia III) - see attached picture for details.

 

Background: I tried out a sw update with a wrong source and the update failed. Since that time I get every 10, 15 or sometimes 20 minutes a strange notification sound during driving. I don't know what triggers this and couldn't find any reason.

It sounds like a message notification sound and I don't know how to get rid of it.

 

My hope is that an update to latest firmware version could fix this.

 

Or any other idea or proposal?

Would be really happy to get rid of this nasty thing...
