Hi, anyone have the same problem? After update from 1941 to 1985 wireless AA connection is broken. It's disconnecting in the same places over and over again. Looks like that on these places is some kind of wifi interference which cause breakdown of the connection. My colleague update week after me and he started to have same problems as I. It´s only wireless AA problem. With cable connection is no breakdowns.

update information

Try doing factory reset and setup again. Sometimes the update can mess with the existing config

This was the first thing which I did. Without success.

Yes, it's all still there after pressing the Mode button. No problem fortunately.

Well my car has offered the OTA to 1985 today. Downloading it as I type. Fingers crossed mine does not break.

 

Would be nice if 1985 would store the female voice selection for Laura 😅 

 

But prob little to late. I've ordered a VW ID.7 tourer to replace it. Ever since I had to get a fuel injector replaced under warranty the car has not worked right since. But dealer says nothing broken so F off

👋 Just picked up my Octavia last week and got prompted for the 1985 update last night. I know exactly what you mean. I enjoyed being able to choose which app took up 2/3 of the screen with a single tap. After the update whichever app I tap now goes fullscreen and I need to tap the icon in the toolbar to bring back the split view.

Hi, can you give more detail on this, does it mean that you can't force it into hybrid manually upon start up and it uses all available battery automatically prior to using the ICE, or something different?

I've upgraded my PHEV to 1985 and it's continued to work as expected. Can manually switch between all elec or hybrid and set battery recuperation level

Hi All 

I have one issu after updated to 1985. Namely, I have permanent notification that the system was updated. I updated system 1 month ago and system still shoow next by next notfication ( Your system infotainment has been updated.  System ikon when you have numbers of Notification still count it  and sometimes system shows 20 notification if I ride a long time. 😕 I tried to reset system but maybe only to factory can repair it What do you think?

Sorry I've not come across this. Someone who is more technically minded might be able to assist you further.

Tested, and even with the icons on the bottom, tapping either app puts it to fullscreen now. Annoying.

 

Another thing I've noticed on Android Auto is that a "Home" tile shows above the app which is on 1/3 of the screen that seemingly does nothing. Tapping it just allows the 1/3 app maximize vertically and reverts things to normal.

The interface of AA is now how it is mentioned by Google. Skoda did an update to the resolution for AA to match it. This is how Google want AA to display on an Car Display.

Hey could you kindly confirm that 1985 update would work to replace 1803 on H56 hardware?

That's a shame. Much preferred how it was prior to this update. This just seems less functional?

Also I like it now how it is you can choose how it looks now with the icons on the bottom or on the side. Other good thing is you have now fullscreen with Fermata Auto for YouTube 👍😜

Better install first 1941 but other confirmed that it's working directly from 18.. Firmware. H56 is ok I have H56 also

last night I received the software update via ota, they changed my control unit 2 weeks ago, I had the 1803 and I received the 1985 directly, 5480Mb.
After 45 minutes after downloading 4576 Mb the download stopped, has this happened to anyone?
I hope they will offer me the download again in the next few days

MOI3_EU_SK_R9850L started downloading today, 1557/1674 MB ATM. So 1985 seems to have been pushed to 2022 models now also.

Same thing with 2021 models, i just received an update to 1985 this morning.
