  6. Could someone please share the coding for kodiaq memory seats? My parents had one of their seat modules fail. They replaced it but now the memory functions dont work and they have loads of errors about no basic settings for all the movement. We've tried many times to follow the procedure for sorting the basic settings- forwards, backwards, up, down etc to no avail. Is there a specific order for the various movements? My dad tried doing factory reset but that hasnt helped. (but may have deleted the coding) Searching around I see loads of people having similar issues but no definitive working fix. I have vcds and an autel 808 and have tried both to fix. ran norming and standardization. Their car is a 2017 kodiaq 4x4 dct diesel with memory seats for driver and passenger. The long coding presently in place is 0014 0000 0000 0000 01A4 8180 8080 0000 0000 8181 0000 00F4 00 Many thanks
  7. Ok thank you
  8. It wasn't in Seats they never got connected services till 2020. Mib2 connected services passed them by. 2020 with mib3 / 4 no TMC possible, was factored out. That was one of the Skoda solutions a Skoda dongle for mib2s. On these threads it hasn't been a success on those mib2s. The author of this thread went that way.
  9. Sounds more like a wheel speed sensor has stopped working? Get the car scanned for faults next. Thanks. AG Falco
  10. I had a unsolicited text from the above company on my phone a few days ago offering me £500 for my Vrs Really weird 🤨

  13. I think you're right... my problem is that I can't FIND the Traffication app according to any of the online instructions, and I have never bought/downloaded/installed it. The car had one previous VAG fleet owner for about 6 months, so I wonder if it's some kind of hangover from their time with the car that wasn't properly removed when they handed it back and is Zombie-ing around in the memory somewhere... best, M.
  14. A piggyback fuse holder on the 12v power socket fuse is probably the best place, I would think a very low risk of voiding the warranty, it would have to be proven that what you did caused the malfunction.

  17. That’s great!, thanks for the advice 👍🏻
  18. In case anyone finds this looking for an answer. Having changed the IAT sensor and other things the P0111 fault returned along with start-stop error. I thought the next thing to try was the battery, as I read somewhere that low voltage could cause P0111.. So, I replaced the battery with a new one and unfortunately the EPC fault returned. I was about to give up and take the car to a garage when I found a Polish YouTube video that showed that on the 1.0 TSI there are actually two air temp sensors; one on top of the engine and one on the side towards the battery. I had changed the one on the top and it had made no difference. Hence, I refitted the old sensor there and fitted the new sensor (same part number) to the side of the engine. Since then, the EPC P0111 fault and stop start error have not returned (2 weeks). I hope this helps someone.
  19. If I hard wire the dashcam to the fuse box as another option firstly would it affect the car warranty and does the Kodiaq have spare ports in the fuse box, also is it an easy job like just plug in?
  20. It was, my friend had in his audi q3 from 2019 when his online subscription run out.
  21. I was looking at this on eBay and was wondering if anyone has used this , how does it sound . Is it worth pairing with a 200cell cat or should I just buy a full system. ?
  22. I don't think it was even installed in cars after 2018, cars had esims by then with the sos button so other methods using TPEG internet services where available and New buyers got access for the warranty periods?

  24. Just checked my Amazon account and the reference number is slightly different. Should be A864S 👍
  25. Because its been replaced with connected services. TMC you had to wait for the slot for the data to be sent out, connected services you just get it. No waiting. None of the mib3 / 4 cars since 2020 support TMC so that 5 year rules got the transmission of the data 🫣.
  26. I recently had my car serviced, but suffered a terrifying blowout of the driver's side front tyre last week (tyre only 3 weeks old and no obvious signs of puncture.) I had breakdown insurance and a new tyre was fitted at the roadside. Thank God I and my 2 dogs finally got home (and stopped shaking)! The "pressure loss" was still showing orange on that wheel, plus both nearside tyres, which were in fact correct! I checked the pressures in all my tyres this afternoon (when they were cold) to make sure they were now all correct but the infotainment system insists on telling me the ability to reset the pressure warning etc on there (ie remove the error message) "is not available"! Please can someone advise?? And no my car isn't (and hasn't been) parked in full sun etc either! For some reason the traction control and ABS warning lights are also showing organge ....

  29. Thanks so much. Been twisting and pulling and more pulling and it doesn’t budge. Don’t want to break the base and/or damage the roof….bit I’ll give it another go. Thanks again. All the best. Jimmy
  30. Check the voltage of battery when car not running. Should be 12.5-12.8v and 13.5-14.5 when running. Could be a failing cell in battery so you get enough to start car and may charge up enough to do it next time but if its a short journey then battery hasn't enough power. Have had a few that start no problem and are fine after a longish run but when short journey after 5 miles stop to get fuel it wouldnt start and dash like a christmas tree. Also check battery voltage when cranking. If it drops too low the electronic systems dont like it. If the battery is good then maybe check terminals for corosion and also earth points. Alasdair
  31. Oh damn I completely forgot to say it was a DSG, it’s been a long year my friend. Thanks for letting me know
