  2. As title. My existing brake servo on my 05VRS is As title. My existing brake servo on my 05 vRS is playing up and I desperately need a replacement. New aren’t available, pattern parts seem to be extremely thin on the ground if at all and the secondhand ones on eBay look terrible when they come up. If anyone has something that would suit, I’ll be grateful if you could contact me. Thank you.
  3. The speed limit on most of the minor c roads around north northumberland register 20mph despite speed limit of 60 is very annoying and obviously a mapping error

  6. 2016 Skoda Superb Mk3 – Bonnet Stuck Shut! Help Needed Hi all, having a nightmare trying to get the bonnet open on my 2016 Skoda Superb Mk3 280 4x4 (UK RHD). Original problem: Driver’s-side bonnet latch released normally. Passenger-side latch remained locked. Interior release handle was still working. What I’ve done: Removed the driver’s-side wheel-arch liner. Located the bonnet-release cable behind the headlight. Managed to release the driver’s-side latch. Unfortunately, while pulling the cable, the junction box came loose and the cables disconnected. The cable from the interior release handle has also detached from the junction. Current situation: Bonnet is completely stuck shut on the passenger side. Driver’s-side latch is released. Passenger-side cable is disconnected and inaccessible. Cannot reach the passenger-side latch due to the radiator and surrounding structure. Cannot remove the grille or bumper normally because the upper fixings are beneath the bonnet. Looking for advice: Has anyone experienced this on a Superb Mk3 or managed to manually release the passenger-side bonnet latch? I’m happy to sacrifice smaller parts if necessary, but would prefer not to cut into the bonnet. Any advice, diagrams or alternative methods would be massively appreciated!

  8. A happy ending to the story! Tis a shame ur original MIB unit could not b recovered, but it's nice u were able to get help from Pab. Happy days now. Took me ages (almost 6 months) to source a second hand trim from the wreckers. Most Superbs here in Oz r Sportline version, which made it suppa hard to find a match for Gandalf.

  10. You’re allowed a Max 10mm crack within the width of steering wheel the height of the screen, and max 40mm outside that area. I’ve got 2 or 3 small chips in a few places. Expecting them to become large cracks at the first frost!

Hi, my current software version is MEN3_EU_SK370_P0113P (0469). Could you please share the download link for MEN3_EU_SK370_P1185L (MU: 1760)? Thanks in advance!

  14. Just returned from a 2,000 mile loop to Prague and back. Spent £158 on a full tank of petrol in Germany, £102 for the same amount in the Czech Republic. So, move to Prague! MOT/service on Wednesday. Picked up a small crack in the windscreen - wondering if it's enough to fail me...
  15. I was playing around with OBD11 a bit too much, now I get a persistent dash warning for the front left foglight and the code B121F15 in obdeleven. Under Module 09 adaptations, for channel Leuchte12NL LB45 (front left fog light) I set Lichtfunktion B 12 = Abblendlicht links. This caused the front left fog light to always be on with the low beam, the moment I disabled it the error started showing up. I suspect that changing that adaptation also changed Lampendefektbitposition and Fehlerort mittleres Byte DTC-DFCC. Could anyone with a facelift model with the LED fog lights and Matrix headlights be kind enough to share their values Alternatively, I'm also not opposed to just disabling that check if possible.
  16. Thanks for the tips. We have completed our trip, without mishap. We stopped for two nights in Koblenz before continuing on to Prague. Both nice towns. Took a boat trip and a ride up to the fort overlooking Koblenz. Ate bratwurst and sauerkraut. Germans do nice soup and potato salad. Regarding fuel: wow. Buy your fuel in the Czech Republic, not France or Germany. I spent £158 on the A3 Rohrbrunn, and £105 for the same amount of fuel in Czechia. Mind, I paid £82 for 47 ltr. in Catford.
  17. That'll be my 2023 SEAT Ateca going in then. Sit down with a courtesy cuppa and a pastry for an hour and catch up on some reading and pay nothing and leave with some peace of mind it's sorted.
  18. Can't see why they'd say left hand drive if it wasn't specific to them.
  19. Mistakes happen everywhere. What really matters is how they deal with them. If contacting support doesn’t get you anywhere, I’d try sending a formal complaint through their official channels, with your order number and a clear explanation of what went wrong.

  21. But the Dealership has never touched the DSG while servicing, or have they? Did they con you into having it done? Hopefully not the MCU, but I fear it will be and not just the shifter.
  22. Hi everyone, I'd like to ask for some advice regarding an engine noise on my Škoda Octavia III RS Facelift with the 2.0 TSI CHHA engine producing 169 kW. Vehicle details: Model: Škoda Octavia III RS Facelift Engine: 2.0 TSI CHHA, 169 kW Gearbox: 6-speed DSG DQ250 Current mileage: approximately 70,000 km (43,500 miles) Engine: completely stock, no ECU remap or software modifications Description of the issue: There is a noticeable ticking/rattling noise coming from the engine at idle. As soon as I slightly increase the engine RPM, the noise disappears or becomes inaudible. It may return when the engine drops back to idle. The noise is intermittent. Sometimes the engine idles relatively quietly, while at other times the rattling is quite noticeable. I've been noticing this noise since approximately 30,000 km (18,600 miles). It is therefore not something that has only started recently. I've also noticed a similar noise on other Octavia III RS models with the 2.0 TSI 169 kW engine, but it was nowhere near as loud or noticeable as it is on my car. On mine, the rattling is considerably more pronounced. I've already ruled out the wastegate actuator, as this is not the source of the noise. I'm attaching a recording of the engine idling. Would anyone be able to identify what might be causing this noise based on the recording? Has anyone experienced anything similar with the CHHA engine? Any advice or personal experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! 20250417_154942.wmv
  23. Cheers... I thought that was just initial info with more to come but maybe that's it??

  25. I have for sale an 18" space saving spare wheel and fitting kit for a 2025 Mk. 4 Superb L & K 1.5TSI DSG Hybrid. It was bought new along with the car. Offers around the £100 mark. Collection only. It has never been used. It was bought specifically for the car mentioned and I can offer no guarantee that it will fit other Skoda models. I do know for fact that this will NOT fit an Octavia Sportline.

  28. Have you seen that formally confirmed yet... I've seen it mentioned in reports but nothing definitive and I'd find it strange if that were the case given LHD and RHD are produced on the same line and likely use the same bolts
  29. Unaware of this thread, in May 2025 I started a thread in the Karoq sub-forum. I have now resurrected that thread as I am again having issues with Send Route and so is another forum member.
  30. Hi guys, When adjusting my blower motor speed I only have 2 out of the 3 blower speeds, when I turn the dial what I get is at: - 0, the blowers off 1, what seems to be speed 2 2, speed 2 3, speed 3 So it’s not drastic but I would like to have speed 1 just blowing lightly. Do I need to replace a resistor (is there one?) if so where is it and which one if not is it a motor or switch issue? Regards Rob
  31. Does any one know if it is possible to replace the transponder in a 2025 key fob. I have 2 Skoda Superb key fobs from a 2025 model. Is it possible to fit a new transponder to these to enable all functions of a key fob for s Skoda Octavia Sportline 2026 model?
