The DQ200 has a mechatronic that is sealed to 3 bar, it's only the gearbox oil that should be considered for changing.

But on a DQ200 it is suggested to change the gearbox oil at 40,000 miles.

The electronics and software in a 2016 Mk3 are completely different to any model year Mk4. Also the attitude of VAG and the regulations regarding ADAS systems have changed a lot since 2016 meaning that many systems cannot be disabled or have their settings changed without some "trickery".

AFAIK Auto Hold requires an EPB, which no Mk3 has.

A 2013 Mk1 will have a MIB1 Bolero, no MIB1 unit can have CarPlay enabled. If you want an OEM solution then you need to replace your MIB1 Bolero with a MIB2 unit from a 2015 on Mk3. Best person to ask is @pab567 so I've tagged him.

Brighter bulbs won't have changed the headlight beam pattern so the Picanto still having better spread is to be expected. The best headlights I've had was the Xenon ones on a 2003 B6 Audi S4 Avant, they had better illumination both spread and distance than any headlights since on Audis or Skodas (even those with Bi-Xenon). Sounds like the wiring to the drivers seat or the heating element(s) are too high resistance or open circuit. You need to physically and electrically check the wiring and the resistance of the heating element(s).

I've had VCDS for well over 10 years and it's paid for itself many tmes over with £100 in garage fees saved everytime I (or friends) have needed a fault diagnosis.

I'm also a hobbyist, and I don't know where you get 800 Euros from, the real price for a 3 VIN licensed cable suitable for a hobbyist is GBP222 which is €255.

Don't expect any help from Ross-Tech or on here when using your illegal rip-off clone of VCDS.

It's normal policy on Briskoda not to encourage support for illegal clones of any product, including VCDS. Buying "VCDS" on aliexpress is 100% going to be a pirate/clone copy.
