  1. Sounds like ur "new light switch" has something to do with it. Was it working before that?
  2. I've got the Blackvue Power Magic Pro. It's wired to a permanent power source in the glovebox fuse board. So far I haven't had any battery drain issues either. It's been 2 yrs plus now.
  3. I turned off the "EasyEntry_Enable_Passenger_Over_DriverMMI" as u recommended and the error in 5F module disappeared. Makes sense given there is no software module or memory for the passenger seat - just electrics. Sadly the Easy Entry still not working. Also the Seat menu has disappeared from the Vehicle Settings. No idea why it's not behaving. Do I need to reset my Personalisation settings? Do I need to change my Key Assignment, under Personalisation, to Automatic? This is my 36 Door Seat module:- System description: Sitzmemory Software number: 5Q0959760C Software version: 0024 Hardware number: 5Q0959760C Hardware version: H09 This is my 5F Multimedia module:- System description: MU-H-N-RW Software number: 3V0035045D Software version: 1433 Hardware number: 3V0035045 Hardware version: H50
  4. I have this error now in the 5F module when I perform a scan...... "U111100 - Function limitation due to missing message static"
  5. Thanks. That's actually a few days after being drenched in heavy rain, so it's not so clean, but the colour helps hide it well. This is the fuel flap sticker. Skoda + Turbo = 😁 Gives me an extra 2kW 😛
  6. I tried enabling the Easy Entry on my MY17 Superb too, but with no luck. I get the message "This function is currently not available" Not sure why. I don't know how to fix it. I made the following changes:- 36 - Driver's Seat Module 07 Coding > Easy Entry Front - active > Easy Entry front over MMI - active > EasyEntry_Enable_Passenger_Over_DriverMMI - active 5F Information-Control Unit Module 10 Adaptation Select channel « ENG 122227_ENG 117556 Car Function Adaptation - Gen2 > Menu_display_seat_configuration - active > menu_display_seat_configuration_over_threshold_high - active Reboot infotainment unit. These were already activated:- This was already set correctly:- "Seats" now showing, however I get the message saying it's not available.
  7. Gandalf, in roof rack mode, enjoying the afternoon sunshine 😎
  8. The virtual dash will only ever show the factory maps. It won't show CarPlay or Android Auto maps.
  9. I don't know wat the process is to re-parameterize the Canton. Perhaps a visit to the service centre to see if they can help u out. Otherwise @varooom might have some ideas?
  10. My seat controller module was replaced under warranty, about 4-5 yrs ago. They tried a software update, but that didn't fix it. So the module was replaced with this:- Software number: 5Q0959760C Software version: 0024 Hardware number: 5Q0959760C Hardware version: H09 Before replacement, it was this:- Software number: 5Q0959760B Software version: 0021 Hardware number: 5Q0959760B Hardware version: H08
  11. Seems coincidental that this has happened not long after u did a firmware update. Likely u need to get the Canton re-parameterized. Have u done a scan? Any errors?
  12. There is a TPI for it, see if ur Skoda service center will replace it for u. TPI - 2049398/3 printTechnicalServiceHandbook-2049398-3.pdf I've been getting the same error too. The part number I've got in Gandalf currently is 5Q0907643C. I've ordered a replacement part 5Q0907643F. Hopefully this fixes the problem.
  13. the SWaP/FEC codes cannot b activated using ur standard VCDS or OBDEleven tools. u need specialist tools for that, ur MIB unit needs to b hacked, and patched with the appropriate files too.
  14. i've got the ContiMaxContact6 (MC6). its on the factory 19x8 Skoda Trinity rims. also with 12mm hub-centric spacers at the front, and 10mm at the rear.
  15. I've been running 245/40/19 tyres for 2 yrs plus with no issues or vibrations. Plenty of others have been using the same size tyres too with no problems.
  16. @ApertureS- u referring to this? The test was done by DSC Sport in the US. "We had some pretty interesting findings today when shock dynoing the Bilstein Damptronic B16's for a MK7 Golf R (part number 49-255874). We found the Bilsteins only are able to control the rebound, while the factory shocks are able to control both compression and rebound with their valving. This means the Bilstein Damptronics are a less capable setup when looking at compression adjustment, but still happen to have slightly greater rebound range. Basically the only benefits to the Damptronics are adjustable spring perches to change ride height and stiffer springs. But are not beneficial when looking at the "active" functionalities of the shock. This is due to the valve used in this specific shock, however in other Bilstein kits we have tested, like the Porsche Kit, the valve is different and was able to control both rebound and compression."
  17. Esshhhh.....weird indeed!!! U mentioned u've changed the ballast, but have u tried/checked the headlight driver module too? There r two modules under each headlight. U can see the two modules at the top of this pic......
  18. +1 The Canton sound is still great whilst sitting in the rear of my 2017 Superb. I can also clearly hear audio coming out of both the top and bottom speakers of the rear doors. My Canton Balance/Fader is set for centre/middle of the car interior.
  19. @Colin170CR- geez.....wat an adventure!!! Good u didn't give up and persisted. I just hope u don't have curtain airbags as the wiring u've run through the roof liner will foul the airbag in the event of an accident.
  20. @Waylon - wat is the story with ur 4B module? Is it the original that came with ur car, or did u replace that? If it is the original 4B module, has it been parameterized with a file that has the datasets for dynamic light assist? If so, was the file sourced from another facelift Superb with factory fitted Matrix LED headlights?
  21. @Waylon- wat is the byte/bit u r changing, and to wat? When I retrofitted SLA headlights, I had to modify Byte 21 Bit 5. Assuming ur playing with the facelift matrix LED headlights, u'll need to select the right option for u. Mine is set to Hex 40 as I have SLA. These r the available options with the 4B module:-
  22. That is correct, given the current version of modules u have listed.
  23. Speaking of speaker ratings for the Canton system in the Superb......
  24. As per @ApertureS comments earlier above, u need to remove the entire centre console.
  25. The push in version which goes into the existing 12v socket will sit too high. Hence why I replaced the existing 12v socket with the USB socket. If u want to simply convert the socket, then yes it does require u to remove the bottom compartment/console/ashtray. If u want to run a USB cable from it to the inside of ur armrest centre console, then yes u need to remove the surround, air vents and controls.
