  • All to do with the UDS protocol.   I don't believe you can take a back up of a scan and adaptation map with OBD11, so you don't have a reference point to go back to IF anything doesn't go to plan.

  • Again apologies if this is in the wrong section.   Tried and tested on a 2016 vRS with Lane Assist.   High Beam Assist (for cars with Lane Assist Camera):  Ensure light switch

  • In terms of long coding, yes, the OBD dongle makes it very easy and CHEAP to do long coding. It also has some of the most common modifications people want to perform pre-programmed in as "one-tou

Be interesting to see how you get on! Where did you purchase it from please?

Edited by MattyMobile

Hill hold assist duration! 3 seconds is rubbish, I'd buy it just for that!

Just been looking at the screenshots in the play store. Am I right that there are no text descriptions for what the bits do in each byte of a control module?

I just ordered it yesterday. It will be interesting to try.

Where from?

Obdeleven.com is the only place to buy it from.

Looks interesting but no iPhone support for us as a pure 'i' family  :'(  - whats the cheapest android phone to buy!?

So... the adaptions, would these be the same as VCDS or does it not work that way?

Can you enable rear led lights when main lights are off?

What about change bixenon brightness when turning indicators are on?

Edited by toni8b

Does most of what VCDS does but not quite so user friendly and a bit more risky as I dont think you can back up the config before making changes.

Good for small tweaks if you really know your stuff but id want to use VCDS for anything big

Looks like a good alternative to VCDS. Has anyone used it to activate High Beam Assist on a vRS? Might be worth the £40 or so just for that - and the diagnostic features.

The only thing it does for me is disable start stop, I might be keen if I could adjust soundaktor and activate traffic updates. I suppose for the price it ain't too bad even if traffic could be switched off.

Could not see anywhere if this will enable power tailgate closing from keyfob and interior switch.

And to disable the annoying beep beep beep when power tailgate in operation.

Anyone using this know if it's a possibility?

I can confirm that the tailgate closing from both locations can be enabled - I have done it for mine ;)

Can you change the headlight washer interval?

Also, can you clear errors?

Mine arrived today. Looking forward to having a play with it this evening.

Can you enable passenger mirror dip with this?

Yes and Yes, although I haven't done the first yet

Yes, I have done it

What about turn on rear DRL to be always lit with front DRLs?

Anyone been able to enable/disable cornering fogs?

I think I might invest in one of these.

For anyone with MY16 onwards cars please be careful ......

Also, by purchasing this product you are supporting someone who has 'borrowed' the Intellectual Property of another well known product. Not willing to say any more than that in a public forum ..........

My car will be MY16. Why careful?

Mind if I PM you about the other issue, andyvee?
