I've built a small 8" subwoofer for my Fabia It's designed to fit snugly in the "basket" in the trunk and have a quick connection so it's easy to remove if needed.  If someone wants to see

  • Just bought my monte carlo a few weeks ago.    Only done a few mods to it so far.   I've lowered it on eibach springs (30/45mm) and sprayed the badges black.    Also clay

Thanks! Adding that to my list :D

What remap offered a crackle/bang setting?

It was with JBS over in Chesterfield

Can you get crackle over run with a standard exhaust or would you need a custom exhaust?

I know you can get it with a catback (with standard cat) because thats what I have but Im not sure if it can be on full standard exhaust

If someone with a mapped 1.0tsi could chuck up a video of in-gear pulls or acceleration off the line that’d be awesome. :)

also a vid of the crackle/overrun for sh*ts and giggles :D

Yeah I'll second the crackle over run video as well as I'm thinking of getting this next year.

Our friends in the Italian Škoda forum posted this video. I’d need to re read the thread but this is a 95hp remapped. I’d also plan on doing the crackle overrun but I’m not sure who does it other than Chiptuning site. I spoke to BSR and they don’t do it for the Fabia...

I think JBS do it

I only see the 1.2 remap on their site. Besides I’m about 1.500km from their store 🤕

They do the VW UP GTI and it's the same engine so I just assumed they would.

Thanks for this! It looks reasonably quick and about right for a remapped 1.0 tsi. To say I’m tempted would be an understatement, just unsure about who would be best to go with now!

Right?! I really can’t wait. Once the holidays are over I’m going to head to my APR dealer and ask if they can do a crackle overrun. If not, then I’ll need to figure out how Chiptuning works.

Race ya on who does it first???

If by chip tuning you mean like a BlueSpark chip kit thats what i have on my redline 1.0TSI 110

its just bolt on with 5 settings depending on what mods you have (i have it on highest setting 5 as i have supporting mods)

may go for remap next year as ive been told can possibly get a 200bhp crackle map that is safe with stock internals (currently somewere near 160bhp

By chiptuning i meant this website. Apparently i need to upload my car's file and they remap it and send it back. I don't have any of the tools to do this so it may be out of the question

Hello all first post here but have been reading topics for some time getting ideas, now on my 3rd Skoda! I’ve seen a few post about people adding Monte Carlo trim to non Monte Carlo models. I have an SE L combi, and was considering getting a Monte Carlo rear diffuser, which some people seem to have done. An early post said that this would require modifying the bumper. Can anyone clarify if this is true, or if it is just a case of bolting/sticking on? Thanks!

I read the same thing but from what I've seen and with the other Monte bit it's just a case of sticking them on.

The front splitter is just held on with about 9 screws underneath and bonded along the top edge.

I was assuming the same, can’t see why the bumper would need to be modified. I want the Monte roof spoiler and front splitter too, but struggling to find them from breakers as individual items, all seem to be attached to bumpers/boot still. Seems much more expensive to buy them new.

Keep checking eBay, I managed to get a full front bumper for £70 delivered. I just took the splitter off that. There's plenty of rear bumpers coming on all the time.

That’s a really good price, most of what I’ve seen is about double that. Will do, hopefully something will pop up soon!

What engine code is your Fabia? Bear in mind there’s two different ones, CHZB for the pre-WLTP engines and DKLA/D for the current crop. Not sure how interchangeable the remaps would be.

I have a monte Splitter fitted to my Mark 3 Fabia that i can sell, mines just screwed on under the bumper not bonded.

Fabia is mainly my wife's car now so would not be looking at much for it.

Hi folks, hope you've all been well. This probably isn't the place for this but it's the only thread I really comment on. Just have a question for you guys, attached picture - do you think it's possible for this to be caused by another car? If so, would it be possible for no damage to be caused to the other car whatsoever?

Thanks lads.

Anyone here managed to film anything of the sort? Only seen the video linked kindly by Rizzoed.
