  3. I've had similar problems on the few occasions that I have tried the park assist. It does seem to work better when there are already parked cars for it to orientate itself against; empty car parks seem less successful. But that may just be my imagination. However ... at a local mini roundabout that I pass each day, the park assist always engages as I pull up to the roundabout and starts to look for parking spaces 🤨
  4. Skoda roadside assistant told me that the codes are cleared when he couldn't find any after being put into limp home mode. I called recovery when driving home slowly but as it was 10pm at night I asked for them to come the next day. When the guy turned up he could see there had been an issue but couldn't tell what it was as there were no fault codes showing.
  5. David - if you do retire this thread, I hope you start a new on to record your experiences. For me, I've thoroughly enjoyed reading what you and other have written. Despite the challeges this has all been a friendly and positive set of interactions.
  6. The car is a manual, would understand that if it was auto. Thanks
  7. It looks like the F11-79-008-01-HA rear spring (and E10-79-012-04-22 kit) isn't for a Superb MK3...but a Superb MK2 and other VAG cars that were based on the Golf MK5/MK6... The eibach de website has an online catalogue that should list suitable kits. https://www.eibach.de/en/iam
  8. I've just checked the battery voltage and with a cold battery it's sitting at 12.33 volts. When the car is running on idle it's 14.30 volts. Should I be concerned about the cold battery voltage?

  10. I had it in a few cars, played around with it when I got the car first and didn't bother with it after that just left it on the default setting.
  11. Today
  12. Yeh, Chassis control. It was recommended to me
  13. Hello In need of some help please. I recently swapped out the RNS 315 nav unit in my Fabia II Combi and replaced it with a RCD 360 from China. With the maps on the 315 now getting a bit stale (VW stopped supplying updates about 4 years ago), the new unit instead offers a factory-fit-like option with Carplay and Android Auto. However, the new unit is coded, by default, to support a reversing camera. I have no plans to fit one, and it's an annoying error (no camera found) to have to clear from the 360's display the first time I try to reverse each trip. The AliExpress seller of the head unit has sent me a series of screenshots to help navigate through the VCDS steps needed to code out the reversing camera function (Warning, they are in Chinese, but they've marked everything up so hoping it's going to be more a case of following the boxes rather than having to translate stuff). However, I don't have VCDS myself. hoping someone who does in my broad radius (I'm in NW London, but happy to travel as needed to get this done) will be able to help me out. Happy to come to you and pay you for your time, though this should be a quick process, hopefully. Thanks Chris
  14. Can someone please shine some light on this ? Time came for the Eibach springs to get fitted last week only to find out that the rear springs don't fit at all. They are hitting rear droplinks without any weight put on them. Yes i know the springs are for estate and my car is saloon but they don't fit. Unless my mechanic doesn't know how to fit them I'm really lost. Pictures attached below
  15. Nice - I think you mean DCC on drivers pack, as ACC is standard
  16. I have recently ordered a 85 Sportline in velvet red (no extras) - expected Dec ish
  17. Right, right. Another lad replied on my YouTube channel about it, said my car is missing the missing the exhaust manifold heat shield / 'hot air collector': https://www.skoda-dily.cz/nahradni-dil/115050680-predehrivac-vzduchu-evropska-unie-1031.html . Huzzah! Another part to buy. 😑
  18. I have a 2025 Skoda Diesel L&K and notice no matter how many times I try and engage Parking Asist to find a suitable parking space it fails to recognise any even when I am driving slowly in a supermarket carpark after pressing the 'P' icon on the infotaintment screen and indicating. What more do I need to do?
  19. Whoops should have read a bit further. Wireless Android Auto is flawless for me now. It was a pain before.
  20. I don't think you can do that on MIB3?
  21. You can't add them manually on the MIB3. Not got my 334 update yet. I have 332 at the moment with random issues connecting to Android Auto so hopefully when it arrives it should fix those
  22. I would be interested to hear from anybody that has successfully fitted a 5K0907659 air quality sensor to their pre facelift Skoda Yeti. Currently I don't see how it can work without alterations to the Climatronic control panel. As previously mentioned, the news sensors appear to speak LIN whereas the old ones are PWM. Unless the sensor is multilingual, the protocol used on the sense pin (pin 3) is going to be different and not be understood by an unaltered climatronic control panel. I have attached a trace of both old sensor 1K0907659 and a new sensor from Febi part 194829 but based on the 5K0907659. I don't believe that the replacement 5K0907659 OEM sensor from Skoda will be any different to the Febi part and I'll have the same problem. Old sensor wave form: New sensor wave form:
  23. I had a similar problem with a locked radio a few days ago. I tried a couple of places and got nowhere, so I ended up finding RadioCodePro.co.uk and they were able to get the code for me. I honestly don't know if the “Skoda server offline” message means the radio is flagged or if their system was just unavailable, but in my case I eventually got the code sorted. Might be worth giving them a try if you're still stuck.

  26. Great point I’ve not looked at fluids etc yet but will very soon. Also yes I really want to be a million percent sure the car is strong and ready for any sort of map before I commit as I want to keep the car for a long time putting my own stamp on it.
  27. The car may have been registered in May, but when was it manufactured and how long did it sit unused? My Octavia had a gap of 10 months from production to initial registration. I took ownership 9 months after registration. The battery was never amazing and Start/Stop barely activated when sitting in traffic. I had a new battery fitted a few months ago and it's like a different car. Start/Stop constantly activates now even without the car being warmed up. So could be worth checking the battery health, and maybe putting a battery charger/conditioner on it? I regularly get complaints with Front Assist, and they're always temporary. It seems to not like certain sections of road. When I take my kids to school there's always one section of road, that if Front Assist will alert, it will do it there. I've never really worked out why.
  28. I did buy a fuel filter too for when the car goes up on lifts I’ll get it changed at that point very soon as I believe it’s on the underside of the car? Good shout on the brakes suspension and mounts too I’ll get them all checked out also hopefully in good condition.
  29. Great shout to be fair I’ll check it out I’m also in the north too.
  30. my car had some issue, on half empty road, warn of colision popped and car itself braked to the floor, driver behind me avoid collision in inches. why is it doing? luckily it happened only 2-3 times in 2 years, no matter of weather or dirt. car decelerate and brake itself without reason, dangerous. i wanted to turn off all assistant stuff (i can do it in settings, its 2019), because i have 35 years of driving experience on motorbikes and cars, never caused a car crash, but it is helpful sometimes.. help to avoid car crash.
  31. for best performance and security, whole car must be checked, low milege but also low year of production, shocks and rubber parts gone with time. brakes, brake fluids etc.. check everything, for your own sake and for sake of others. when ii tuned my 1.5 tsi from 150 to 180 ks, my first ride after warm up was pretty dangerous.. :-D
