  1. Scan it for codes. Get the battery checked. Is it the original battery?
  2. Which media system do you have?
  3. What engine do you have? The timing belt advisory replacement has been changed. It's no longer 5 years. There are threads on here about it. There is only one washer pump which does both ends. This is one of them.
  4. Power steering is electric, no fluid needed.
  5. Maybe some circuits should have an RCB similar to what you get in your house.
  6. Doesn't say much for the fuses then.
  7. Makes sense, but OP says even starting from cold the line can be anywhere and move in either direction.
  8. Joking aside, I just cannot fault mine. Cambelt & pump are the only things its had done

  10. As far as I know the configuration is with one press on the fob, it's either drivers door only or all five doors.
  11. Do you mean you've had NO further problems?
  12. I've done a conversion. can you open it? It's an mp4 file 20240207_172748.mp4.0dd7f48ed2a6b13f83a0479a27d22ce4_x264.mp4
  13. Suggest you get it scanned and see what the error codes are.
  14. Does it do it when stationary and you rev the engine and let it fall to idle?
  15. Do you have an Octavia? I'm guessing not. The instructions given in the link are completely false.
  16. If you search Hollowmanvid on youtube you may find the clip you're looking for.
  17. Try and find a Briskoda member local to you who can scan for fault codes.
  18. Glow plugs?
  19. Such a simple job. Mine was blocked for a few years. A few days soaking in vinegar did the trick for me.
  20. Suggest you post this in the MK2 forum.
  21. That could be a coincidence as the system will have to reset itself after the battery has been disconnected. I'd give it a few days to settle down and then re-scan.
