  4. I certainly don't regret it......as shown in my previous comment. I've test drove both the 280 and 220, back then, before I chose the 220.
  5. I forgot to quote you in my previous post, so here it is again. Hi Simon, do you have a wiring diagram that you followed to connect the facelift headlights for a pre facelift citigo ? I’m doing the same mod and I’m struggling a bit. I’ve located the pins for the main bulbs, but got lost with the leds and adjustment’s motor. I already got the female connectors
  6. Wat Model Year is ur Superb? I can give u the 4B parameter file.

  9. I don't think Jaguar is deluding themselves that the car is elegant, I'm pretty sure it is simply making an incredibly bold statement. I don't get most modern art, or say, Captain Beefheart, but there are many who do, perhaps that's what Jaguar is aiming for. They are not looking for big sales, that's for sure. There will be crossover tech from this car and some of the innovative engineering solutions will be carried over to their other upcoming cars, so there might be a little more method in their madness than just to shock everyone. Personally, I don't think the world cares if there is a Jaguar or not, it hasn't cared for many years, regardless of the excellent cars it's made over the last few decades. I'll wait a few years and see if the gamble pays off. One thing for certain, I'm super excited to see one in the flesh, which in itself speaks well to the interest this car has evoked.
  10. Hi, od anyone here willing to share dataset for 4B? I did also swaped headlights and I'm on the search for dataset...
  11. Hello everyone! I need help with the wirings of a set of facelift headlights on my pre facelift (2014) Skoda citigo. I’m smart enough to find out what pins are responsible for the main bulbs, but I got lost finding out what pins turn on the DRL led lights and the electric motor for the headlights adjustments. I already bought the 10 pin female connectors and other things for the high-beam to work. Any help will be precious, thank you in advance

  14. According to obd11 my “batttery aging performance” is down to 70% after 2.5 years. 70ah Varta EFB+ 70ah.
  15. My 2024 Scala I have noticed on the cruise control using it a lot on a 550 mile round trip that when set at 70mph it seems to hold that speed fine uphill and on flats on motorway but any downhill stretches the speed increases sometimes up to 80mph depending on the incline. Is this normal? I don’t recall in 2 years ownership it doing this before unless I just didn’t notice it.
  16. Thank you. This is really good information. I noticed that the one sticker in mine has a made in Poland on it. Thanks again.
  17. The issue was Jaguars and EV jaguars particularly. Poor reliability. Then it is JLR. Jaguar Land Rover, the Land Rover parts unreliability and that is Range Rovers and still on the New Defenders. This new creation had better be well sorted because what a beast for any recoveries. At least there will not be much luggage to empty out.
  18. @ So I got a replacement from ebay for about £350 plus import fee of £80. It was from Poland. If you do this make sure you one with all the attachment points intact. Many are from crashes and so have broken bits. And get one from a recent year, avoid anything from 2022 or 2023 just incase it hase the same defect. I tried fitting myself but chickened out so I got a local garage to fit it for £130. In total, it was a lot but much less than the original quote from Skoda.
  19. Thanks Zanpy01, It does seem crazy that it costs customers so much. Did you go to skoda for the replacement, an independent or do it yourself? I will try and have a go with contacting skoda, but I am preparing myself for the worst.
  20. That Jag at least had some elegance to it, even if it was derided at the time. The Type 01 has none as far as I can see. As for Jags not selling that probably has more to do with pricing, specs, reliability and comparisons against contemporary opposition marques, as opposed to design?
  21. So I had to get a complete replacement of the unit. Definitely a bad batch but when I called skoda multiple times they said that as it was outside of warranty there was nothing they could do and there were too few incidents to consider a recall. They really weren't helpful. As a diagnostic test I got someone to check if this was a wiring/ecu issue, but that was all fine and the Turing signal came thru fine. It was the LED strip in the unit that had failed.

  23. Thank you @Breezy_Pete . A lot of aftermarket versions and even some remanufactured OE ones list both 6Q0500051BB and 6Q0500051AT as compatible numbers, whereas Diederichs only lists 6Q0500051AT. So I guess, as suggested above, I’ll just ignore the two extra mounting holes and use a zip tie to secure the brake line. That way my son willl also have the option of upgrading to disc brakes in the future if he ever feels like it. I'l post some pictures of what it looks like in the real life.
  24. Hi Paco, I have just got the same problem with by 2022 facelift. How did you get on? Was it a full replacement of the headlight unit? I bought an extra years warranty when I bought the vehicle new, now 6 months out of warranty. Seems ridiculous that it will cost a grand when in the past we would have popped down to halfords for a £5 bulb. Seems quite a few people are having the same problem. Sounds like a bad batch to me.
  25. Hi, Errr, If it ain't the same shape and same size, it won't fit. There are lot of spare parts websites, where you just need to type your plate number and they give you a whole bunch of fuel filter references. They're not 100% reliable, but 99% of the time they're correct. The most reliable way I know, is to look for OEM reference on ifinterface.com or any equivalent, and then check on those website if the reference they propose is compliant with your OEM P/N. I can't recommend any of those website, since I don't live in UK, but I'm pretty sure others will do. ;)
  26. Sorry, but that is BS. Especially mentioning Seat here, together with Cupra they are very noisy cars. Perhaps something is broken in your Octavia so you find it more noisy, but in general it is the same as similar class VW cars. No modern car remembers settings which EU regulation mandates them to forget. But unlike others, at least in newer models Skoda offers a button to quickly return to previous settings. Not the case in Octavia yet, but show me any other car from around 2020 which is better in this regard?

Hi Cairns, How did you get on? I have just got the same problem with by 2022 facelift.
  28. To be fair, I’ve ordered from Autodoc a few times and never really had any problems with them. Guess it depends on the situation, but I can see why you’re frustrated, especially with return postage costing that much! Definitely something worth checking before ordering, just to avoid getting stung like that.
