  2. Is anyone able to email me the latest firmware, please
  3. Yeah they are separate stalks on the Karoq, sounds like its not the easy fix I was hoping for, fortunately its still under Skoda warranty, so I'll be giving them a call, thanks for responses.
  4. @skoda998 The Low mileage makes no difference as it is getting the same as @ the 1st Service and in addition a Pollen Filter (expensive done by them.) As long as you do not take up the offer of them doing a Brake Fluid Change & the Air Conditioning service. They will likely tell you these are scheduled to be done.
  5. The exact same bit of my black window trim is missing on driver side. I heard a noise on that side about a month ago and assumed something had been kick up by car in front and hit us. Only going about 50mph. The other Enyaq forum has a post from someone this happened to as well. Strange the same part has come off different Enyaqs and a Karoq. Did anyone find the spare part? Someone posted this link in the other forum: https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/5la853274c041-cover-right-skoda-50826.html Also seems to be sold here but no description: https://www.lllparts.co.uk/product/5la853274c041/trim-black-glossy-5la853274c041 I'm hoping this is right hand side - there are two part numbers and thinking A041 at end is for the left hand side.

  8. Seperate stalks in the Karoq. Driven a couple the past week or so.
  9. Today
  10. @Aldfort Thanks for the reply. I've had the aircon on a lot recently, I guess that may be part of the problem, although I haven't noticed that the aircon is speeding up - i.e. demanding more power - before the engine restarts. @rum4mo Yes, if the engine has auto-stopped it starts OK when I depress the clutch (and move the steering wheel? Maybe that was just coincidence...) but it will also re-start seemingly at random without me doing anything, usually after a few seconds. In fact, the last few journeys, the engine has never stopped at all at traffic lights / junctions. The 6th gear display issue was weird. It has only happened once, but I've only done one motorway journey. I'll see if anyone else has any ideas, but at the moment I'm inclined to use the car for another week or so to see how things go before taking it back to the dealer. I don't want to be taking it back every five minutes when something odd happens; I'd rather find all the issues and then get them all sorted. regards, Andrew

  13. Same thoughts as above, I’m guessing that you mean if you press the clutch pedal down while stationary and the engine has auto stopped. The suggested gear playing up is wrong.
  14. faulty stalk if they are on the same one, common problem with modern cars
  15. Unit elecricity price on Agile going to over 60 p per kwh during eclipse tomorrow ! 17p in the afternoon. Use less than normal and get an hour free on Sunday from Octopus 🐙
  16. @Hobron What had you done to solve the issue, and was it a lack of go issue? WAS THE OLD PETROL DRAINED OUT? Where there fault codes when you had an issue, where there mis-fires? Was the fuel OK, the fuel filter OK and where the Spark Plugs, Coils , cables? Was that what you replaced to solve things? How many miles has the car done?
  17. I noticed this being mentioned as now being part of the MOT checks in my usual car mag a few months ago, so checked wife’s 2015 Polo before handing it in - still acceptable so I might replace it soon.
  18. It's one of the annoyances with most automotive forums. When someone posts a problem for help but then never returns to say what the solution was.
  19. No luck, they're not fitting any towbars at the moment
  20. I have a fabia 1.2 tsi 2013 thaught i solved issues but after mot took it for a short run 1-3 no problem, slight gradient on dual carrageway no pull in 4, got up 50 dropped into 5th car slowed down. Need help to rectify car as stood 2 years whilst front end body rebuild engine as been run weekly throughout build.
  21. Using indicators occasionally causes windscreen wipers to activate, any ideas ?

  23. Yep, so hoping there's some answers by now 😂
  24. 3 years since the OP,s logged in about the issue 4 years back.
  25. Would love to know if there's a way to tell if it's been fiddled with or if a remap has been done. I've got the same issue...
  26. I’d check the exact finance offer rather than assume the old Karoq deal still works the same way. Škoda/VWFS still allows early settlement, and you can request an up-to-date settlement figure through the finance account. The important bit is the wording of the current offer: if the £700 (or whatever the current contribution is) is conditional on taking the finance, check the terms to make sure there isn't a minimum period or other condition attached. Current Škoda offers still include finance-linked contributions and service incentives, so the basic idea hasn't disappeared. I'd get the dealer to give you the full finance agreement and settlement figure before signing, then compare the total cost against simply paying cash. If the contribution is genuinely greater than the small amount of interest/fees incurred before settlement, it can still be worthwhile—but I'd want that confirmed in writing rather than relying on how the 2018 deal worked.

  28. I can help with a couple. Lots of things cause the engine to restart on it's own if stop start is active. This can include the AC demanding cool air. The radio mode might be set to local to automatically change to a local station when in range. There is a margin on the speed warning system. after the first ping then you don't get reminder pings unless you are more than 2-3 mph over the posted limit. The other stuff will need a trip to the dealer.

  30. £1300 here, I will give them a call https://eastyorkshireretrofits.co.uk/products/skoda-kodiaq-mk1-genuine-powerfolding-towbar-retrofit?_pos=2&_sid=e77212872&_ss=r
  31. I bought a BootBuddy for my 19 pate Octavia Vrs Challenge estate, now using it in my 23 plate Kodiaq Vrs, it's got a rigid plastic base, sides and back, can be bought as an extending version that can reach to rear of front seats when rear seats are folded, contains all the dog hair. I always have dogs in a cage.

  33. I think just on a visual check. hadn't triggered any fault codes, yet. It dosen't look that bad at the moment, you can so scuffing type marks and maybe some faint cracks forming. Didn't fail an MOT because of it, just an advisory to act on immediately.
  34. Thanks for that, a great help. I might give them a call and see what they have in stock and price. They quoted me £65 to fit a new seal!!! I said I'd do it myself.... I've seen them for £6 online. Got aircon back though, for now.... It had a full service / MOT / aircon service and an attempt to fix the passenger window where it doesn't open fully. They replaced the regulator some months back. They couldn't fix that in the time available after faffing about with it. They said they could control it fully using the OBD port, but just went back to playing up when using the buttons.
