It'll depend on the car headunit, the bluetooth module, what phone you have and the Spotify app. I'd suggest you pair your phone via bluetooth and see if it works

For the sake of £20-25, I'd be tempted to buy the file and ask your tuner to take a look to see if it's plausible... Assuming it is, a quick rolling road session should highlight any obvious issues.

As you have a Bolero, the only reason for using a SD card is to either put radio logos or music on. Any standard SD card will be fine, it doesn't need to be a Skoda branded one

However, for the RNS-315 it looks like there are a few versions: - V3 3AA-051-866-E - V4 3AA-051-866-K - V6 3AA-919-866-AD - V7 3AA-051-866-AK The latest looks to be 2016/17. As always, please check the part number yourself before buying...

@Frdy85 - this thread is about an MIB1 Amundsen. From your post here, this is not what you have so the maps above will not work! You need to figure out if you have an RNS-310 or RNS-315 style Amundsen. - For the RNS-310, I can't see any South American maps - For the RNS-315, there appear to be V7 maps from 2016/2017, I can't see anything newer

I doubt an insurance company will take any notice of what we have to say. I'd be tempted to go to Skoda and get a full PR list for your vehicle, then use that to confirm if you have the right PR codes for the storage draw. If you're lucky, @James@RRG_Skoda_Rochdale might be able to help

Not on the set the OP posted, that looks like standard CC based on the functions (speed not distance etc). It's probably possible but unlikely to be a straight swap. You'll need to figure out what each function does to the wires as they tend to use a few resistor ladders normally. You can then modify the new stalks to match at which point, hopefully they'll work It's worth checking they use the same carrier to attach the stalks to the steering column too as there are a few styles. If not, that might need messing with too.

As far as I know all PQ35 based cars (Yeti and MK2 Octavia/Superb etc) can't do this :( You'll need a newer MQB based car (MK3 Octavia/Superb etc).

I'd suggest buying an hour or two and downloading everything you can find for future use. It's the only official source I'm aware of and given how new the MK4 is, I doubt many unofficial sources exist yet.

I recently retrofitted a virtual cockpit but as it was faulty, I ended up switching instrument clusters a few times which ultimately meant the odometer was incorrect. Rather than use one of the few services to increase the mileage, I purchased the required tool to correct the odometer myself. Given it worked perfectly on both my original and replacement cluster, I'm now offering a mileage increase service for MQB based Audi, Seat, Skoda and Volkswagen (VW) instrument clusters aka virtual cluster, virtual cockpit, VC, active info display, AiD, etc. To my knowledge, most MQB clusters cannot have their mileage adjusted via the EEPROM. To get around this, the tool simulates a moving vehicle which means I can add up to ~4000 miles per 24 hours on the odometer. While I appreciate this is probably quite a niche market, I'm offering my services as this can be a sticking point when purchasing used clusters. The way this will work is: - You send your instrument cluster to me - I'll increase the odometer to the requested amount - If you'd like, I can send a daily picture to show progress - Once complete, it'll be returned in your packaging I'm not sure how to price this so for now I'll say £50 will cover: - insured return postage (UK mainland only) - up to 20000 miles adding (5 days) FAQ: - This tool CANNOT be used to decrease the odometer, please don't contact me regarding this - If you need more than 20000 miles adding, please contact me to discuss pricing - I do not offer component protection or immobiliser services, these require ODIS with an online connection which I don't have - Some clusters may increase at a lower rate, if this is the case I'll contact you with a revised completion time - If for any reason I cannot increase the mileage, I'll return the cluster and give a refund minus the postage cost Regarding the last point, if I come across a cluster I cannot increase the mileage on, I'll add it's part number below and no longer accept requests for that cluster.

Free to sign up, you should get some info for free but most the useful stuff requires payment. A print to PDF function is handy to save anything useful for future use. It's not clear what country you're in, but you could try contacting Skoda UK (or equivalent) about Smartlink activation. You'll need a dealer to do it but hopefully Skoda can give them some pointers or confirm the March availability.

There are two PTC versions, a 'dumb' and 'smart' version. The 'dumb' one uses relays and is controlled by the engine ECU so you have the security cage to deal with. Due to that, I opted for the the 'smart' version which has a CAN-bus controller built in so needed CAN-bus (rear of HVAC was easy) and 100a feed/ground. The only hard part was running the wires through the firewall as they were so chunky. I wasn't able to find much about the MQB 'smart' version... It seems to be 5Q0963235A looking at https://www.drive2.ru/b/519507975203717934/ although it's not entirely clear where the LIN connection goes or what coding is needed

The most reliable method is to connect diagnostic equipment and check the software version for the ECU If it's above around 9970, then it's been 'fixed'
