Can I enable Indirect (ABS wheel sensor based) TPMS on 2012 Yeti SE?
Not sure that's conclusive though, 'cos the units that do mention TPMS seem to only be within the page devoted to Yetis that have ABS without Electronic Stability Control. Yours has ESC.

My ŠKODA App - Send Route
@Rbz5416 Interesting I'll give that a try. I've assumed I was Primary user. I have recieved another email from VAG Digital Support this Sunday afternoon. Had to send another route to the car, and then send the App logs to Digital Support. There is a hidden feature - shake your phone and a Support Menu pops up and you can send stuff to Digital Support.

AFAIK, Galvanic action is possible between metals that have significantly different properties while in contact with a suitable electrolyte.

For your VIN, the ABS control module part number shows as 1K0 614 517 DM No mention of TPMS in its description.

Probably a Combi if fitted with rear wiper.

Fabia ECU kit
Not sure as your in barbados. I assume the carriage would be expensive if getting it from Europe etc. Are there any scrapyards/autobreakers on the island or on other islands nearer. Think its your best hope. Did read that magneti marelli are not easy and are either auto or manual so dont have all the software to do both hence why the changes revert. Hope you find a solution. Did find a large car breaker in uk that sends international but whether Barbados?? There called Charles Trent https://www.trents.co.uk/#/ Alasdair

I've done the same. With the engine braking effect I feel more in control.

Settling in to new (to me)
Recently moved from 2018 Golf GTE Advance (their top spec trim for the GTE) to a 2019 Occy vRS 245 DSG. Very happy with it. Its lighter than the GTE but feels heavier and more.. Grounded, in a good way. Got a couple of things I'm going to miss from the GTE, namely fuel economy but we aren't comparing apples to apples here with these two. Virtual Cockpit, although I had it set on large Rev counter and Speedo 99% of the time so using similar setup but obviously they are real dials now so no great loss. The vRS is a lot better is many more ways so I've no regrets. Don't have to worry about charging at work and paying £3 a day for that and paying for the Premium petrol at tesco's.. Done a few tweaks now, Scandinavian DRL for the rears, stripey leds on with DRL at the front, blower level being shown on auto, turned the hideous sound acktor thing off.. That was hideous, made me feel like I was in a 1990s Scooby and not in a good way... Changed interior lights with drive modes so normal is blue, Eco is green and Sport is red. Paired phone to it, setup so when the phone connects by Bluetooth, the phone fires up a a wifi hotspot which the radio connects to. Totally useless as I use Android Auto via a USB dongle to give it to me via wireless. Also loaded up logo's for the radio stations. No idea why I've got to do this, absolutely inexcusable. Had to chuckle, previous owner pinched the Skoda umbrella.... But left in the spare wheel, a very large Swiss army knife.. Googled it an its the top spec one and worth about £80 so I can find it in my heart to forgive them... 😂 Think thats about all for now. For some reason there isn't a huge amount of info on the 2019 Mk3.5 on youtube, I suspect maybe something to do with the timing and COVID... Don't think I'll get this remapped, I've had several remapped cars before and whilst great fun and I know engine and gearbox can easily handle a stage 1 remap, there is that constant niggle in the back of the mind that something will go wrong due to the map and ultimately, I only really used it and got the benefit from it when pulling away from the lights.. That extra 150kg of battery over the rear axle did not help the handling on the twisties! Also, my insurance has gone up by £250 so don't want it going up even more due to remap. Any thoughts, opinions, idea's greatly received and appreciated.

That's helpful. VCDS scan says its: 1K0 907 379 BJ HW: 1K0 907 379 BJ Component: ESP MK60EC1 H31 0121 Revision: 00H31001 Coding: 933F400E09260102C91302EA9022808A300000 I'll PM the VIN and have a look through ETKA.

What part number is showing in scans for your ABS module? A quick glance at parts list suggests different part numbers for with and without TMPS. If you let me know your VIN by PM, I can look up.

Can I enable Indirect (ABS wheel sensor based) TPMS on 2012 Yeti SE?
Thanks. I am very worried. I grilled wifey and she swears she felt nothing. But she is old school driver trained and grips the wheel hard with both hands. With power steering I will use a light grip with one hand and would immediately notice a steer to the left or right. However, on a previous car I had a rear flat on the motorway and didn't feel anything, until a passing driver alerted me. I've followed old links without success. The only way I've see the dash TPMS icon is when both Gateway, ABS, and instrument options are enabled. But then I get module 4C in the list which it can't find or communicate with? So far I think my coding attempts are for other Skoda TPMS systems? As I explained, a 2007 V.W with ABS wheel based TPMS has no entry for TPMS in its Gateway list, or options visible in instruments or ABS. Which made me think it's embedded in the ABS controller and not a custom coding option? I think I need help from somebody with a 2012 Yeti SE why has successfully added the reset switch and coded for TPMS, or who has the same year with TPMS factory reset button fitted and can upload their vcds scan log for ABS, Instruments and Gateway list? Then I can compare long coding and module versions.

A VW Group Global Recall 2026.
Galvanisation is possible only when is steel in contact with aluminium, moisture and salt. On my car and on any car with steel subframe bolt is not corroded. Anyway for my own sake, i will change both bolts by myself, not only one of them. Check by your vin https://www.skoda-auto.com/services/recall-campaigns

2011 Octavia 2.0TDI 140 CFHC Fuel Filter Confusion
Just a little update. After all the information and cross referencing part numbers I’ve just fitted a Blue Print ADV182301 fuel filter. Fits perfect for my housing and at sub £10 from Amazon can’t grumble.

I stopped using Eco mode as the lack of engine braking when coasting meant I was using the brakes more - it made no measurable difference to mpg but used more brakes, so it seems to me like Eco mode will increase running costs without decreasing emissions?

Would you replace the injector ahead of failure or wait and see?
Swap the injectors before to minimise any potential problems damaged injector seats etc ground fault could cause wiring to arc From experience Look at the minimum deviation values and choose to replace two at a time

Kamiq spare wheel
My daughter has got the Kamiq SEL with 18" alloys and no spare. We removed a wheel and test fitted. An 18" alloy fits into the spare wheel well but is a tight fit. We then bought a foam insert with a sissor jack on Ebay - not even VAG - and it works o.k. I don`t know if y 17" alloy may fit.

oil blowing from the dipstick and oil cap
Hi all I'm back again thanks to everyone that contributed to my other thread you were all very helpful, now this spaceback drives lovely (having said that due to problems ive only done 20 miles in it) so i decided to do a oil change which all went well except i couldn’t see the level so worried about it not being enough put 500ml more and i could see it i(i put a 4lts in in the beginning, then added the 500ml, but while i was sorting out i had to move the car a few meters to let my wife’s car in and inadvertently left the dip stick out and oil came spouting out so Ive read a bit about it pcv valve and a few other things it could be, if anyone has done one or knows some information that might benefit me it would be greatly appreciated. 2012 to 2019 Superb Refresh
The 12 plate has about 85,000 or so, not much leg for the age. Back story: I just retrofitted MIB2 High , large screen and camera, heated and electric front seats along with hill hold assist in the wifes A3 8V and, as you know, the 3T doesnt have the car play or the goodies of the later car; mind you, it does have electric heated and ventilated seats.... You are probably right though, no AdBlue or low pressure EGR to deal with like the 187 EA288. But I can't take it (12 plate) into even outer London without getting clobbered by the ULEZ tax. Incidentally make sure when paying that tax, you confirm it is the official government site you are logged into. I went on to pay in a hurry and didn't notice, I paid £2 more for the tax and it turns out it was a scam so I had to pay a £90 fine too for non payment as they didnt forward the payment to the TFL site. Won't make that mistake again. How reliable has the TSi been for you?

My ŠKODA App - Send Route
Not sure if this is relevant but: I sent a route to the car yesterday that didn't arrive. When I got to my destination I thought I'd give the Pay to Park a try. Oddly it told me I had to be the primary user. Apparently I've been operating as a guest, which is something the car has done itself. Logged in as Primary User & sent another route, which this time arrived. So may be worth checking your are actually the Primary User & haven't been mysteriously switched to a guest account, which obviously wouldn't be connected to the app. I'm guessing this switching is what produces the random "Your settings have changed" message.

Great. I must have the limited edition 2 screen version, where from some angles you have see a line down the middle.
