1.2 BZG engine oil leak
Could it actually be gearbox oil from the RH driveshaft seal?

Another Oil Consumption Topic
Out of interest, how frequent has the oil been changed during the cars lifetime? The long life service plan with 30k kilometer oil change interval doesnt do any good for the piston oil rings in this engine. I would try a forte new generation motor flush with their instructions for an engine that hasnt been cleaned earlier: first drive the engine warm, then 2 bottles of forte motor flush in on the current oils in the engine and with a raised idle speed of 1500rpm, gear in neutral,STANDING STILL, dont move the car, let it idle for atleast 30 minutes, maybe even close to 1 hour. Then shut down the engine and change the oil, careful it will be hot, let it pour out all the way and then if you have any leftover, clean and suitable non used engine oil layin around, maybe pour few desilitres in and watch from the sump plug hole will it come out clean...just a little extra flush to get all the old oil out. Then new filter and good oil like Liqui Moly. Maybe even throw a bottle of Forte Advanced Diesel Fuel Conditioner in the fuel tank to clean the fuel system. This would be my first approach for the problem. If the piston oil rings are only gunked up due to bad maintenance they could possibly be cleaned with motor flush. They could also be seized or even broken so then the flush wouldnt help.

Dashboard warning lights
I agree could also be a build up of dirt/rust on sensor tip. Doubt its wiring as both seem to be giving trouble. I would change them. I used Febi ones on my octavia and they werent expensive. Had to change them due to replacing wheel bearigs and broke senors trying to remove them No problems so far. Think from memory they were around £12 each Alasdair

the truth about electric cars
New Dacia Spring, sister product of the new Renault Twingo etech, will go on sale in Spring 2027 reportedly. Same small 27 KWh LFP battery and therefore 150 summer range and 120ish winter range so very much inter town or county rather than cross country. Price should be sub £15k. Bigger than the 45,65, 100 old model Spring and 80 hp. Apparently the 100 hp, sub 1 tonne Spring was as expensive as a Gilf GTI to insure ! 12 seconds to 60 in the new Spring. Torque presumably lowish line the power. Weight now over 1.2T but it does look much more sturdy.

You have a dying ABS sensor at the back. Maybe two. Scanning with a decent tool will help identify which one.

Can you seperate petrol from diesel?
I guess you meant 2% petrol?
-
Can you seperate petrol from diesel?
yes, its roughly 2% diesel. AI agrees with you - harmless. The main worry is lubrication of the pump but at 2% not an issue. No or a beneficial effect on DPF - apparently.

Dashboard warning lights
Could be a voltage drop. Whats the condition of battery and also is alternator charging ok. On the other hand my octavia had random warning lights appear some bright and others dim. Cluster needed connector cleaned and reseated. Were there actual fault codes stored to match warnings? Alasdair

@MarioVrs What Superpro arms did you use? I've ordered and received some TRC1070s and now finding conflicting stories about whether they're right for the car or not. Do you still have them on?

Air Quality Sensor testing
Skoda parts list 3 interchangeable part numbers for the 5K0 part, with applications limited to Superb 2, Octavia 2 and Yeti. https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/5k0907659-air-quality-sensor-european-union-38255.html Maybe just buy one of their non-genuine offering?

Radio replacement options.
Having said all that I have 2 trouble codes for the 5F unit, dab antenna both open circuit. Apparently that failing can cause distortion on all audio sources. I have discinected the fakra connector to see if that resolves it bit srill the same, also possible break in door harness can also cause it, so hoping it's one of those that is causing it. Quick look and found a new one but for 75 quid for a tiny little box.

Broken spark plug - ruined engine? 1.4TSI CZCA
Compression test was good! 13bar in all 4 cylinders. Have put 4 new spark plugs on and just driven to the shops and back with no issues! So it looks like my bro was wrong and it doesn't need a new engine. Perhaps I was lucky and have got away with just a bit of surface damage. Cheers for the help

Air Quality Sensor testing
I believe that a supersession automatically implies compatibility, but I guess I could try to see which other vehicles use the newer part and see that their circuits don't mark up the signal line as 'LIN'. Remind me this evening!

Air Quality Sensor testing
I know that you've said that 5K0907659 supersedes 1K0907659 but is it definitely compatible? i.e. Do we know that the 5K0907659 part is definitely not LIN bus based? On the catcar.info, if I look at the diagram for the 2013 Yeti, it only lists the 1K0907659 part. However if I look at the 2014 year and onwards it lists 1K0907659 with 5K0907659 in brackets. I'm just surprised that so many sellers on eBay have the wrong part advertised and this makes me suspect that they are only partly wrong and it works for some years but not others.

Continuous Bearing rumble on 4wd , coasting in neutral
If all the wheel bearings are smooth and no play (as said they can still make noise but feel ok) It might be the centre bearing in rear propshaft thats failing or propshaft coupling. Had one go on an old volvo 940 and made a droning sound varying with speed. Alasdair

It must be coming from somewhere. Check the join between engine and gearbox in case its the crank seal that gone and it getting blown backwards Alasdair

Felicia PickUp speedometer drive
You lost that white teflon look Worm gear (cochlear atermonas) ? A mechanic may ''grab'' it with a special tool otherwise it will be shattered in pieces inside the gear box. Briskoda.net search 002409191B 002409191E Cost about 9 euro or 7,7 GBP

Radiator Cover 6U0121283J ,differs from Radiator Support https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/6u0121283j-radiator-cover-1-3mpi-china-3089.html https://www.naskodovku.cz/kryt-vodniho-chladice-vedeni-vzduchu-pro-skoda-felicia-facelift-6u0121283j--6u0-121-283-j/ @keywacat It's a very crucial part,it ''drives'' the incoming air on the radiator otherwise the incoming air will lost some amount inside the engine bay with no benefits.
