  2. I'm looking for advice from anyone who has experienced a similar issue on a Mk3 Superb or another VAG vehicle. My car is a 2020 Skoda Superb 2.0 TDI 190PS, and ever since I bought it two years ago I have been bothered by a noticeable buzzing/humming noise that is clearly audible inside the cabin. After investigating the source, the noise appears to come from the N75 boost control solenoid located at the rear of the engine bay near the bulkhead. The sound also goes away if I remove this part from the backets The car has already been inspected by a workshop. They agreed that the noise was coming from the N75 valve and replaced the valve, but the replacement made absolutely no difference. The buzzing remained exactly the same. They also tried to make som "alternative" fixings for it on the original bracket, but this actually made the sound worse..... Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, as the sound is loud enough to be genuinely annoying inside the cabin. And is driving me crazy.. I actually prefer to use my old car which I have not sold because the sound is so annoying... Thanks in advance!
  3. Is it possible to code this out, I absolutely hate it, or is there an easy way to switch it off?

  5. Genuine reasons indeed ... sorry to drop a nice car, but oh well! Enjoy the new ride!

I'm not saying those in the list are coreect or final... for those in the areas to check.
  11. Ok thank you that explains it, only seems to happen on the longer downhill sections.
  12. I did the same with my old shed. The wife's brother-in-law drove a Yeti and now a Scala but every opportunity he offers to drive the Roomster. Even he says I would be mad to sell it.
  13. Yes, that's normal for standard cruise - there's not a lot of engine braking, so gravity will tend to take over on longer down-slopes.
  14. For context, has this battery ever been charged from external source?

  16. I certainly don't regret it......as shown in my previous comment. I've test drove both the 280 and 220, back then, before I chose the 220.
  17. I forgot to quote you in my previous post, so here it is again. Hi Simon, do you have a wiring diagram that you followed to connect the facelift headlights for a pre facelift citigo ? I’m doing the same mod and I’m struggling a bit. I’ve located the pins for the main bulbs, but got lost with the leds and adjustment’s motor. I already got the female connectors
  18. Wat Model Year is ur Superb? I can give u the 4B parameter file.

  20. I don't think Jaguar is deluding themselves that the car is elegant, I'm pretty sure it is simply making an incredibly bold statement. I don't get most modern art, or say, Captain Beefheart, but there are many who do, perhaps that's what Jaguar is aiming for. They are not looking for big sales, that's for sure. There will be crossover tech from this car and some of the innovative engineering solutions will be carried over to their other upcoming cars, so there might be a little more method in their madness than just to shock everyone. Personally, I don't think the world cares if there is a Jaguar or not, it hasn't cared for many years, regardless of the excellent cars it's made over the last few decades. I'll wait a few years and see if the gamble pays off. One thing for certain, I'm super excited to see one in the flesh, which in itself speaks well to the interest this car has evoked.
  21. Hi, od anyone here willing to share dataset for 4B? I did also swaped headlights and I'm on the search for dataset...
  22. Hello everyone! I need help with the wirings of a set of facelift headlights on my pre facelift (2014) Skoda citigo. I’m smart enough to find out what pins are responsible for the main bulbs, but I got lost finding out what pins turn on the DRL led lights and the electric motor for the headlights adjustments. I already bought the 10 pin female connectors and other things for the high-beam to work. Any help will be precious, thank you in advance

  24. According to obd11 my “batttery aging performance” is down to 70% after 2.5 years. 70ah Varta EFB+ 70ah.
  25. My 2024 Scala I have noticed on the cruise control using it a lot on a 550 mile round trip that when set at 70mph it seems to hold that speed fine uphill and on flats on motorway but any downhill stretches the speed increases sometimes up to 80mph depending on the incline. Is this normal? I don’t recall in 2 years ownership it doing this before unless I just didn’t notice it.
  26. Thank you. This is really good information. I noticed that the one sticker in mine has a made in Poland on it. Thanks again.
  27. @ So I got a replacement from ebay for about £350 plus import fee of £80. It was from Poland. If you do this make sure you one with all the attachment points intact. Many are from crashes and so have broken bits. And get one from a recent year, avoid anything from 2022 or 2023 just incase it hase the same defect. I tried fitting myself but chickened out so I got a local garage to fit it for £130. In total, it was a lot but much less than the original quote from Skoda.
  28. Thanks Zanpy01, It does seem crazy that it costs customers so much. Did you go to skoda for the replacement, an independent or do it yourself? I will try and have a go with contacting skoda, but I am preparing myself for the worst.
  29. That Jag at least had some elegance to it, even if it was derided at the time. The Type 01 has none as far as I can see. As for Jags not selling that probably has more to do with pricing, specs, reliability and comparisons against contemporary opposition marques, as opposed to design?
