What have you done to your Superb III today?

@JR RS, Personally I'd thought it would have been better to over do the badging of the variant of the model rather than the model within the Skoda brand. Anyone who is a car enthusiast is going to instantly know that you are driving a Superb but not the which version of Superb it is?

That being said, I like what you have done with it, but equally I'm beginning to see the appeal of debadging as it does mean it is easier to clean. B)

here in Oz, we either get a Sportline 206TSi AWD, or a non-Sportline 206TSi / 162TSi / 140TDi.

we don't have the numerous variants like u guys do in Europe.

mine is non-Sportline 162 TSi, however it has a mix of trims from L&K as well as Sportline.  but i'm not going to stick Sportline or L&K badges on it, because it ain't one.

Just like how i wouldn't stick vRS badge because it ain't one, but plenty do.

people who know wat a Superb is, can't figure out wat Superb i have - so they're having to do a double-take, or get a closer look to understand wat they're looking at.

hahaha.

in fact, most people here don't even know what a Superb is, let alone a Skoda.

i'm happy with my frankenstein personalised Superb.

I that case, I fully support what you you've done. It's about time the folk of Oz were educated about how good a car a Superb is. 👍👍

L&K doesn't mean anything for most of people,
me too removed outside's L&K and added Superb wing emblems, but in same line as door handles

You'll have to get a closer image @MartiniB. I can't see any detail there!

Sorry, but that alignment looks wrong.....in my opinion.

Tis ur car though, so how u want it is all that matters for u.

Higher up, like how I've done it, is the same alignment done with the Sportline badge.

It also sits/blends nicely within the crease folds/contours.

A problem with lowering them is the greater chances of bottoming out on speed bumps. I have loads of these pesky things around me and with my mk2 (not lowered) if I was carrying 3 or 4 passengers it often bottom on some of the bumps. I had the springs and shocks checked out by the dealer and they were perfectly OK.

I have yet to bottom on my mk3 and that was one of my concerns with the car as it has the DCC fitted and I have it set for comfort so I would have thought it was more likely. Does the mk3 have a higher ground clearance than the mk2?

Yes, KW DCC is installed. There is nothing with penetrating or the like. Of course you have to slow down a bit in some places, but it is perfectly suitable for everyday use.
There is also residual thread, so it could even be a little deeper. But that's enough for me.

Done: Oil and filter change. Brake fluid change. New discs and pads (ate ceramics and ate coated) all round.

If anyone is interested in part no, I will dig it out from my autodoc order.
