Electric seats are listed as coming soon in the uk site. Interestingly if you google sport line trim in Ireland there is already a list price out there for it and says will be orderable in q3 sometime. Ireland only getting 50 first editions. Prediction is for the sportline to roll out gradually as the deliveries take place and first editions run out. I do wonder if that’s gonna tie in with different seats and electric adjustment in the sport line. It’s showing approx €37.5k for the 55 sportline in Ireland. No uk price yet , haven’t googled other countries.

I do like the look of the Epiq, and might finally be a move for us from our late model Yeti. identical length to the Yeti, and chunky looking in a much more modern way. There are a couple of options in Europe that we don't seem to be getting though: 1) Lounge interior with brown faux leather and creme cloth, that looks premium. 2)Electric front seats

Hi, does anyone have experience with a Škoda Octavia vRS 2.0 TSI 147 kW (2010 facelift, Combi)? I used to have one and everyone kept telling me that this engine was a ticking time bomb because it wasn’t considered very reliable. Mine had 223,000+ km. I’m curious if anyone here has one with similar or higher mileage and what your experience has been with the engine.

I'm about to go down the route of tacking Skoda UK. My current Citigo is a 67 plate and it has the first signs of rust under the paint around the filler cap. I have caught it really early so it should be relatively easy to sort but I'm sure Skoda will be at their most awkward. I am not the original owner so have no paperwork for the first few services but irrelevant really as the 12 year warranty, as already established, doesn't stipulate it for corrosion from the inside. My local Skoda dealership whom I had a relationship with are no more with Caffyns now the franchise holder which also doesn't fill me with hope. I foresee a long, drawn out process about to start.

Afternoon all, is this as bad as I think it is? Bad noise, check engine light, error codes P0300, P0302, P0303. Changed ignition coils on cylinders 2 and 3 which didn't solve the problem so checked the spark plugs. Spark plug on cylinder 2 was missing the tip! It appears to have broken off while in use! The spark plugs were changed 2.5 years ago with Bosch ones. Picture of broken spark plug and video of bad noise attached. Is my brothers diagnosis of "might need a new engine" an accurate one? I'm hoping I can fish the piece out with a long thin magnet, stick a new spark plug in and then everything will be good as new again! Car is a Golf 1.4TSI mk7.5 with the CZCA engine. Sounds like a DPF or EGR problem, you need to do a fault code scan. Your 2016 1.6TDI predates the sort of TDI that uses Adblue.

I am just about getting to know how to delete previous Sat Nav destinations. But sometimes, the Sat Nav thinks I want to go to the destination when I touch it to delete it and it starts up again. I can't seem to find a way to tell it to stop so that I can try to delete it again without switching the whole thing off, waiting for 20 minutes than trying again. Is there a simple way to tell it to stop and that I don't want to go to the destination again? Thanks.

My Elroq has the Maxx Pack, Winter Pack and Driver Pack on it aka ACC, plus the Transport Pack for times when I need a 240v mains supply, also the boot net system. Already buying a few bits and pieces for it like door protectors and organiser trays, next month will see a boot liner, a 3 pin charger added

Hello, This is my first car so forgive me please for my lack of knowledge. Today I can take my key fully out and my engine stays on.. I have to take out the fuel pump fuse in order to turn it off. This fuse-box diagram seems correct: https://fuse-box.info/skoda/skoda-roomster-2006-2015-fuse-box-diagram I believe it's a Skoda Fabia Roomster 1.6 Petrol 2009. I've ran a OBD scan and it came up with these two warnings: Engine Control (EC) relay - Short to Positive Engine Control (EC) relay - Open circuit ECU addresses listed: OBD-II, 28, 58 I bought a new ignition switch, it's coming on Tuesday but I have a feeling it might be the EC relay due to the OBD scan. If anyone has any advice, links to what to buy I'd appreciate it I was thinking about buying a universal relay and then all of this got too complicated such as HEL4RD007794-021. I'd really like to drive my car to work on Tuesday, so if anyone has any thoughts on continuing to unplug the fuel pump fuse and if I might cause lasting damage - let me know

Hope you enjoy your Elroq! I'm switching by the year end, too. Enyaq 85 Sportline in my case. Had Octavia for 4+ years now but eventually got tired of accumulating problems which workshops don't want or can't fix, so there it goes...

Of course, that was the question. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto haven't been officially enabled. Now, a firmware update is being rolled out to fix the clock bug, which means the patch for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is gone. So, the unit needs to be patched again.

Thanks to all. Reading the comments in this thread, I realised I was kicking under the rear bumper but not stepping back. I think I have got the hang of it now so thank you all again.

Have a look to see if there a motorfactors near you. They may well stock them as our local one had one on the shelf as someone ripped my sons off on his mk1 fabia. As for the radio code switch ignition on and make sure radio is switched off then switch ignition off and leave for 20-30mins. Switch ignition on then radio and it should resync and start working. If it still asking for code then it may be in the radio instruction booklet or car booklet. Check its not in glove box as well. If the above doesnt work then I am afraid you may need to contact dealer it came from. Alasdair

Hi all, was researching this for a while, and seen comments on Seat forum stating that in 2023 VWG changed the recommendation on belt changes. So i contacted Skoda directly and they confirmed that my 1.4 TSI engine is on a lifetime schedule! 67 plate by the way, might consider an inspection in a few years. 66k on the odo at the moment

If you have a basic knowledge and are used to working on cars then fair enough have a go, but If you know nothing about mechanics especially brakes get someone else reliable to do it whether its a garage or a friend with experience. Have had a few friends that tried themselves and made an arse of it. The following I have had to sort for them. Pads fitted but not behind the part of the carrier that secures them. Pads fitted with outer pad as inner and vice versa Slider pins not tightened enough and not lubricated Discs not running true due to corrosion on stub axle Air in system after caliper change (they didnt know how to bleed system properly and thought the brakes would bed in) I could go on and on. Worse one was a friend that got a so called mobile mechanic to do hers and he only put one bolt back in each caliper. She had to brake suddenly on motorway and bang no brakes and just managed to control car before hitting central reservation. Alasdair

Yep, I never thought I'd change from an RS, but my car has passed the 3 year boundary and will soon want an expensive service, discs and all sorts of TLC. Throw in the increasingly expensive fuel, VED and the fact that I'm getting older, I've now lost my parents and dog I've decided to have a change and go electric! I'm not leaving the Skoda fold though, I'm getting a Elroq Sportline 85 instead, had a test drive and I was very impressed with it, it was smooth, comfortable and airy. Also it's going to be cheaper to "fuel" at home and with a broadly similar range to what I get from my RS now it was a no brainer for me. My RS leaves me at the beginning of December.
