  2. Here's a pic of my Karoq Scout with the 17" Origami wheels off my Dad's old Yeti L&K as winter wheels. I thought they looked alright on.
  3. Definitely missing having a power supply that is dead when the ignition is off
  4. There are plans for a new Fastned charging site. Between Stirling and Perth on the A9. Where there was a Little Chef then a Subway and across from the Shell filling station with it's hopeless Shell Recharger charger. There was a Little chef there in the past also. (My favorite one). So some sort of eatery to be at the Fastned site and toilets. It will be great to see a Ultra Fast charging facility right on the A9 without have to leave the Trunk Road to get charged. The sooner the better.
  5. @IJWS15 did Skoda ask you to try E5 or was it a technician at a Skoda franchise dealership in the UK?
  6. @Carlston might be able to help.
  7. I fixed mine 2.5 years ago, just replaced whole wires to longer and it’s still working. I’m gonna sell it

  9. Start reading the online handbook now ! https://www.skoda.co.uk/apps/manuals/Detail?model=Elroq_PY&edition=11-2025 In my biased opinion they are great. Are you already set up with charging, ev tariffs etc ?
  10. As far as I know all Skoda car USB ports (be it A or C) are ignition switched but you don't need the engine running. I always found the 12v sockets being permanently live a bit of a pain especially re powering dash cams , coolboxes etc. As you have to remember to disconnect to avoid a flat battery.
  11. Thanks nicknorman, Had similar issue with the rear washer, when I stripped the jet down, both the tube and jet were blocked and needed flushing out. I will see if I can access the bottle and clean the pump and tube. Thanks for your help

  13. Could also be a bad ignition switch especially if it works when turning key fast or fiddling about with it Pump I assume will prime at pre ignition etc but it may not be making proper contact when turning to start. Could also be loose connector/broken cable at back of switch. Alasdair

  15. The connection is inside the rear pillar. You pop off the trim in the car, unplug, pull off grommet, pull cable through. See this Youtube video I used
  16. 20Nm + 90° sounds like the workshop manual info for mk1 Fabia with M8 fasteners. Please show your source for this information in relation to mk2 Octavia @kokosal
  17. Nick, Can I ask where is the connector is located for the strut and how do you access it to dis/reconnect it?
  18. Wire to starter motor solenoid gradually breaking, just outside the cable entry of the connector at solenoid plug, generally.
  19. 100Nm not for the three nuts but ball joint to knuckle. for the three nuts 20 Nm + 90°

  21. That sounds bad! The systems aren't supposed to work that way. There are two systems with confusingly similar acronyms - DDAW and ADDW. The first is Driver Drowsiness and Attention warning. The second is Advanced Driver Distraction Warning. The first was mandatory on new cars first registered in the EU from July 2024, the second, from July 2026. Neither is a legal requirement in GB since Brexit (although there are plans to make is a requirement soon. However, the manufacturers generally can't be bothered removing the system from GB cars. Field 54 on your Certificate of Conformity that should have come with the car, will tell you which of those it was fitted with. Some useful descriptions of each system here: Smart EyeDDAW and ADDW Systems Are Now Mandatory in New Cars: Here...New vehicles are now required to have ADDW and DDAW technology that detects driver drowsiness and distraction. Here's what you should know.
  22. there is a solenoid in there somewhere: https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/508812-error-selector-lever/page/4/
  23. PhilPalmer started following Boot sagging
  24. Love my 2013 Fabia scout estate 1.2tsi with one exception.... the boot seems to sag quite badly when loaded up with my market stuff. I plan to get the coil springs changed but the ones recommended by MAD don't fit the Scout. Does anyone know the correct part number for new springs. I looked on the sticker in the boot but it doesn't give me any info. Anyone else had the same sagging problem. Thanks
  25. heya. i found fixing the speaker wires easier than trying to find a fitting speaker for the enclosure. if you still have the old one i'd be happy to give it a go. also, please post the file on makerworld as well. i'll help out with some print profiles
  26. Hello!! I've been having some starting issues with my Fabia Mk1 HTP recently. Sometimes it doesn't react to the key being in the start position. No cranking, no noise (other than the fuel pump buzzing in the back). After some fiddling with key, or a fast turn it starts and runs fine. Now, after replacing the battery the issue seemed to go away and it had been starting perfectly. Two days later it looks like the problem is coming back, but now the fast turn of the key doesn't make a difference. Also, it doesn't look like it matters whether or not it's a cold start. What could be causing this?
  27. I'm trying to format my SD card to the FAT version but keep seeing this error message appear. Any ideas what else i could do? I am using a mac! By the way i am using a brand new 64GB SanDisk SD Card

  29. Electroverse have quite often taken nothing from my credit card that they have the info to charge from. I notice it is sometimes where first the CPS rfid card will not start a chsrgrer and then i use the Electroverse card and it takes an attempt or 3 before accepted. I have 2 cards from them. The one i use never shows as ever having any sessions used on it. But it has been used plenty and been paid for those sessions. I think with CPS i am up on free charges compared ti being charged for false starts and my complaint ignored.
  30. The £10 was pending i seem to remember but now shows not pending ie will appear on next statement. Dont mind paying full rate just confused by the nature of the process and the timescales, thanks fir your information. At least it was not a £45 like MFG takes as a deposit, or more !!
  31. Welcome to the forum. Two things to check first - Have the battery properly load tested. Carefully check all battery and alternator connections for tightness and freedom from any corrosion/oxidation.
