Code reader showing no signal to both G65 & Air quality sensor, I’ve replaced both sensors with Skoda parts from dealership and still error code is showing, Aircon is non operational. Any help would be appreciated

Might do - I had similar codes and limp mode on a Civic Diesel I had a number of years ago that I could never seem to get to the bottom of, assuming it was a MAF sensor issue - until I found that someone had failed to replace the air filter when it was serviced and hence it had been in there a long time - a new filter and no more codes!

if is a 1.2 tsi cbz my suggestion is that it could be a coil pack, look also for the ignition leads, being a 2015 it could be already equipped with the upgraded one (the difference is the heat sheild on the cable), a known fault that can cause a limp mode is the turbo actuator, in my 2013 fabia a faulty coil pack and later a worn spark plug never caused a limp mode 'just' the epc light followed by tcs ecc., (a completely worn ignitoin lead did cause a limp mode once). A faulty wheel sensor normally dosent cause a limp mode, in my fabia I've broken one wile replacing a front wheel bearing and no limp mode just abs tcs tpms warning, also on a 2016 octavia scout 2.0 tdi 184 bhp a snow chain sliced the wheel speed sensor causing all sorta of faults but again no limp mode.

What make of oil filter do skoda use as standard, Bosch, Fram, Mahl, VAG or are they specifically marked Skoda.

Indeed. Salary sacrifice does not always look great as those quoted deals don't seem to be anywhere near what the tax relief should provide. We, at Bollore and CMA/CEVA were told we were going to get SS EV deals but time passed and they never materialised. The EV grants have been nice from both the Con government and current government but both are icing on the cake and I was always buying cake rather than bread (ICE). ICE cars loads of bread to run and don't taste as nice to take the analogy a bit too far.

Like climate denial there are those that cannot see the clear mass of evidence in front of the them for what ever reason. BEVs are already great and improving rapidly. ICE cars are pretty much stuck in the doldrums. As my fellow converts we gave driven ICE for decades, in my cases done about 1M miles and owned about 50 of them. Sadly many Luddites still around or maybe it is an initial purchase, credit obtaining thing but clear to me that BEVs are the future, whether that is LFP, Na or whatever battery chemistry. I too am tired of this thread and will try and not contribute any more as it seems flogged to death. Am looking forward to even cheaper running from October 1st though when VAT on charging at home goes to zero. Just bought £33 public charge charge from Gridserve so about £5 VAT, not nice compared to home.

Same here, no deals or bungs on my car and my wife bought hers without any offers. She haggled on price but you do that with any car. In our street we have 2 Skoda Enyaqs, 1 cupra Born, one ID3, a Kia EV9, Kia E niro, a ford mustang, a nissan leaf, peugeot e208 a Ford Capri, and en e corsa. That's a street of 17 houses. Of that lot the EV9 is the only one that is a company car

As you are probably aware 'Unbranded' SD cards will not work with the MIB2. When you had the problem with the original card, did you try ejecting and re-inserting it in the slot?

It sounds similar to the issue we had with our Fabia mc 2023 bought from new from Johnson's Skoda. There have been three frightening occasions when just about all power was lost - potentially fatal on a slip road or busy island. I have posted about this at length a couple of month back but the forum is poor when it comes to finding threads. I think it's inexcusible that there has been no recall and that dealerships lack the common sense to check that important software updates have been applied. The update in question came out a couple of years ago so it is a known issue. However, VW are not known for being straight with customers - remember Dieselgate. The dealership and the forum proved of no useful help. It was suggested that the battery would need frequent charging due to most of our journeys being short. I bought a suitable charger which made no difference and had an AGM battery fitted. On my last visit to the dealership they tried to sell me a new battery and then a new car. The Fabia broke down for a third time but I had found out that the AA have "silver service vans" with technicians and equipment tailored for VAG group cars. They are trained to a high level for Skoda cars. I requested that we have such a van sent to our home address. The technician knew what the problems was almost immediately. There's been a software update available for a couple of years that fixes the issue which relates to the throttle body settings. Cables like we had with carburettors have been superceded by electronic controls with sensors. After half an hour was spent updating the car's software we were assured said that the issue wouldn't happen again. The technician also said the battery had nothing to do with it. So far so good but we are still recovering from Fabia anxiety. The only reason I'm on here today is that the dealership just emailed me to attend an event as a VIP customer. I don't think so!! The service manager told me to get out and take my car somewhere else when I became very annoyed with their failure to sort the car's issues. Their diagnostics failed to find an issue so how can you fix a car that's perfectly OK? I will add one positive in that the manual gearbox Fabia mc if fully updated is very good to drive. The Fabia is not likely to continue in production as VW group are starting to feel the pain of strong competition from Chinese manufacturers. We have decided to keep the car but it will be serviced by our local garage rather than a main dealer.

We own both dry and wet clutch DSG cars, 2015 and 2023 respectively, the 2015 dry clutch doesn’t have autohold only hill hold, so the operation is not identical, the dry clutch car is fractionally slower engaging the drive from stationary, but creeps on idle sand as the wet clutch car.

hi i been facing same problem after purchase my mobile app show activated ,shop app in car show activated but no Light assist button in menu skoda support keep sending me to dealer i contacted 3 around me but no response. i got HW : 5WA937086K 016 SW : 5WA937086R 0136 DATASET : V03935324EA 0001 I compared my backup in VCTool what i found was in central electric09/adaptations/LCM/Expanded High beam control/ i got basic configuration where other backups with basic LED they had high beam lights assistant and when i tried to change it i couldn't because function not available that backups has V03935356TC/V03935356TX datasets and SW 0136/0137 so i bought VNCI6154B + VCTool (needed for reverse camera retrofit anyway) requested stock data and dataset was V03935356TX with all calibration etc. 2min flash and central electric09/adaptations/LCM/Expanded High beam control/high beam lights assistant was there light assist button appear in menu

Unfortunately it isn't, I've ordered a branded sd card with latest maps. I've read that the branded ones are coded. I'm hoping that the replacement card will resolve the issue.

Which simply highlights the idiocy of Skoda's approach.

The coasting function is slightly different on later models. On my 74 plate it only operates when in 'Eco' mode, on my earlier 71 plate it operated in 'Normal' & 'Eco'

Came across an old post from 2020 with BBY engine codes P1553 and P1504 with same symptoms as yours. Sorry cant seem to post link but he had done a major overhaul on engine and it started and ran then got the codes with EPC,ASR Idle all over the place and no response from throttle. Eventually they did the following and it cured it. It was solved by resetting the ECU to factory defaults by writing value 00 to channel 00 in the engine control module. A bit above my zone but might work Alasdair

Difference is a DQ200 7 speed twin dry clutch from a 6 or 7 speed wet clutch DSG. Wet clutch can slip some, a dry clutch should not be slipping. They should and do drive slightly different. @McDuff Do you happen to be in Macduff?
