Do I need new lower control arms - with dealer video?
I don't think that's warning you the pads are low. To me, it suggests the wire which connects to the pad wear sensor is very close to the brake disc. This means it may occasionally touch and get damaged, might be worth taking a quick look and seeing if it can be zip-tied away from the brake disc

What VCDS cable for SIII
You've not mentioned which VCDS device you have. You'll need a HEX-V2 or HEX-NET for a 2023 vehicle. However I would still expect VCDS to detect an older HEX-USB+CAN cable even when connected to a new car...

Know this guage?
I think the OP needs to provide some pictures showing exactly what behaviour they are seeing... The only part I've ever notice move is the solid red bar and it does so predictably as shown in the pictures above.

Know this guage?
As @SC03OTT mentioned, it's one gauge for oil temperature. It'll start like this assuming the oil is less than 50'C: As it gets warmer, the bar on the right will grow - few examples from Google: I don't believe the little 'tick' mark in the middle means much. It's probably around 115'C so maybe a 'normal' maximum for most driving and conditions. The red hatched area would start around 160'C at a guess? As long as the solid red bar doesn't get long enough to touch the red hatched section, it should be fine. Hope that helps unless I'm misunderstanding your question...

Smartlink activation in south west UK
The dealer buys an activation kit from Skoda, which I believe is 000054830A. That will contain an activation code and instructions how to use ODIS with an online connection to enable Smartlink against that vehicles VIN. This means that if in future the headunit is replaced, Smartlink will remain activated on the new unit as the VIN has the right entitlement

Karoq 19 inch Crater Alloy Wheels
Assuming it's the same alloys as the thread below, then yes, they appear to be diamond cut:

Fakra DAB Connectors
No... It's only for the amp and instrument cluster. I would be amazed if the software supported a camera over MOST. Use the quadlock as per the factory fitted RVC.
-
Automatic light / rain sensor help please
It's normally a submodule of 09.
-
Fakra DAB Connectors
The gray is a blanking plug to protect the MOST (fibre optic) connector. It's used to connect to the amp and/or virtual cluster. As for the fakra connectors: - Yellow is USB. - Pink is the screen. - Blue is GPS. - White double is FM/AM and second FM. - Purple is GSM. The quadlock has pins for everything else, including but not limited to: - power - ground - CAN-bus - microphone - reversing camera - aux in - extra USB power - speakers (where no amp is used)

Automatic light / rain sensor help please
Unless both cars were identical spec, I would expect the replacement to need coding... Maybe refit the original, check the coding, refit the new one and code as appropriate?

Screen Upgrade Compatibility
I believe that's a MIB2 Bolero. At a guess, the best options would be 3V0919606B or 3V0919605E as per the following topic:

Possible to buy just the lens for rear headlight??
Looks identical... The LED bulb you can see is aftermarket. You can remove the bulb carrier and transfer it to the new taillight easily

Possible to buy just the lens for rear headlight??
A MK4 tail light won't fit a MK3 Octavia. They are mostly likely from a MK3 facelift, aka MK3.5 You have the part number so I'd look for one of those to make sure it matches.

Perspex(?) 'A' Frame Black Cover
Take a look at the broken piece, that should have the entire part number and colour code stamped into it

Head unit plug in for Superb Mark 2
If you're lucky, the previous owner will have used an adaptor lead so you can just unplug it and use the original quadlock

Small aluminum tabs in trunk, attached to green and white cables/strings
- Changing CANBUS gateway to High on my Superb
Might be worth grabbing a workshop manual for your Superb. Example page for removing the CAN-gateway on a similar Octavia:- Headlight range fault
Maybe post a full autoscan along with the instructions you followed- Head unit plug in for Superb Mark 2
Did you look at the diagram I posted? That shows all the wires on your connector... From your picture, my best guess of wire colours and functions are. Black block: - Big red/white stripe are both permanent power - Big brown is ground - Thin orange/brown stripe is CAN low - Thin orange/purple stripe is CAN high Brown/beige block: - Brown/white stripe is front left speaker minus - Blue/white stripe is front lift speaker plus - Brown/red stripe is front right speaker minus - Red is front right speaker plus- Head unit plug in for Superb Mark 2
- Coming home lights behaviour
A 2007 Octavia and 2019 Superb are completely different electrically as they are based on different platforms... Take a look at the adaption channels in 09 on your Superb: ENG141656-ENG116604-Außenlicht_uebergreifend-Coming-home Einschaltereignis,Driver door That seems to be the 'activation' reason for coming home so maybe see what options you have- Navi update
Oh - your using a mac... That will mess things up as OSX add extra files which stop the SD card working. If possible, use a PC otherwise I think you'll need to use a program like CleanMyDrive on the SD card after extracting. Top level directory should just have a directory called maps and no other files.- Navi update
You're using Columbus instructions on your Amundsen. Try following these instructions instead. You can use the file you've already downloaded- vRS Heated leather seat retrofit
- can some body help with rear fogs lights and rain close
Maybe add an adaption map from 09 - Changing CANBUS gateway to High on my Superb
