What made you choose your username?

It was my username on an old RPG i was addicted to called Asherons Call

My username came from the computer forum Vogons.org, before then I hadn't really used anything "interesting". I restore, sell and use computers that'll be close to 25 years old now for fun, I really liked the original Pentium series, so that gave me a half of my username, the other half was just the best adjective I could use to describe myself!

Thought I'd posted in here before now but...   I've had Skoda's for 20 years and a Mazda (the same one) for 23 years.  When I joined in 2002 it just made sense to combine the two.

Just changed my username, used to be sneal which autocorrect on some devices had a habit of changing to sneak 🙄. 

 

So, where did SteveTheElder come from? Many moons ago my brother & sister-in-law decided to do me the honour of naming their youngest after me, so we had two of us with exactly the same name! In an email dialogue with my nephew he signed off as SteveTheYounger, so by implication I was the elder - and it stuck.
